WK 8 - OVAC - (Hannibal) River (7-0) @ Toronto (6-1)

Post by carbon_dated »

on paper and at a quick glance this could be great game...
Toronto hasn't beaten a team with a winning record, barely hanging onto 8th in R25.
River improving each week.
comparable scores:
both played Bridgeport. River won 48-12, Toronto 54-8
both played Shadyside. River 39-7, Toronto lost 30-31.

Toronto won't make playoffs unless they win. River looking to secure home playoff date.
Throw in where game played i think River should win by 2 TDs, but a 25-pt. difference wouldn't surprise me.

River is healthy and ready. Wanting that hard to get undefeated season. Look for River to score 40 and win by 3 touchdowns.

River may name the score here. A lot of offensive fire power in Hannibal this year. Isaly and a lot of the skill players are juniors. Dietz, Caretti, etc., only seem to get stronger as the season goes on.

I believe River finishes first in region if they win out.

Was pretty close on my pick, but i saw highlights and I know River had like 5 turnovers, including a fumble out of bounds into end zone after 70 yard run by Isaly.
