I'm sure the Eagles have plenty of respect for Trimble. I know plenty of Eagle fans that really appreciated what Trimble did with the little Eagles last year. I don't figure Eastern's coaches would let anything happen pregame like it did when Trimble visited that team down south. That was just dumb. I think what grumpy was referring to was the "hide your bell" comment. If Trimble went after Eastern's bell "unprovoked", I'm sure the guys in green would take exception to that. So to be clear, I'm guessing he means by "teaching respect" that there would be a fight. Nobody want's anybody ejected for something that happens after the game. But like I said, I think these two teams respect each other too much for any of that nonsense.

On to the game...if (and that's a big freakin "if") the Eagles play like they are capable of and with some energy, the score should be respectable and who knows, with a couple of breaks, they could win. Like I said above though, haven't seen the green team play with the energy it will take to win a game like this, but hopefully they surprise me. If they play flat, and don't hold on to the dang ball it will be ugly and then i'll go to my truck and my user name will have meaning.

Off topic for a minute but tonight Trimble junior high plays Eastern at The Sty. From what I hear Eastern junior high team is big and strong and Trimble has high powered offense with speed. Should be a good contest. Little brother tonight big brother tomorrow night

Eastern has great respect for Trimble. The kids always get along great outside of sports and even while playing. What Racine did last week probably pissed off the eagles as much as it did Trimble. When week 10 roles around, that game is gonna be fun to watch. As for the Jr High game, it should be a great game and I would say even much so that it deserves its own thread!!

Trimble was up 28-0 with 4 mins to go.It was good first half 8-0.Then the bottom fell out for eastern Jr high.team.Trimble scored 3 TDs in about a 4 mins.Couple runs and pass.They have a nice team .I have seen a week 10 game between you guys looks like a UFC match no love lost between the 2 schools.
