This will be a great game, but I think DeSales pulls it out, just have so many weapons on offense and defense.

Desales 28
Zanesville 7

Zanesville is a lot better than Chillicothe and Logan but Desales will wear out Zanesville. Zanesville has speed and a big line but not much depth on the line

Between Zanesville and Logan they hung about 120 points on the 2014 D3 runners up in Week 1 & 2, the difference being Logan gave up about 50 but Zanesville gave up zero.

Zanesville's best win is arguably Tri-Valley which was D3 last year and is the smallest school (or close to it) in D2 this year. It should be noted Tri-Valley is playing in Week 12 against Perry I think and there is a decent chance they win and advance to Week 13. So Zaneville can play some defense, I read somewhere that besides the Zanesville game that Tri-Valley averaged over 40-points per contest.

This game is being played in Newark so since I am working in the Granville area this weekend, my plan is to try and take this game in. Zanesville competing here is not out of the question.

I always like the underdog, so pulling for the Ville in this one.

De Sales has been playing killer ball and has been getting more and more fierce in each game this year. I'm still going with BIG!

Alonzo Booth played at Canal Winchester last year. Him and his offensive line seem to be clicking at the right time.

De Sales Imo is tough from top to bottom this year. No weakness anywhere. Like to see Zanesville hang tough though, but De Sales will be way too much once again. Zanesville better have ordered some D-9 bulldozers to stop De Sales.

Thing about Desales is they lost almost everything on the line and their leading rusher from last year. They should be better next year

You got that right. Cream of the crop VS public. Like to see Zanesville hang in there better than I anticipate though. GO BLUE DEVILS.

The Competitive Balance Proposal (CBP) kicks in next year to adjust enrollment counts to account for some of the shenanigans with transfers and what-not.

Argue it either way probably but there is one thing for certain: (1) Life (and HS football which is a part of that) isn't fair. Everyone will be faced with being at a disadvantage at some point, be it in High School, or be it in their career. Overcome it, figure it out. Do we really want 7 divisions of public schools and 3 separate divisions of private school play-offs so that everybody can win something.

Democracy is not a perfect form of government, but it is the best out of all the other alternatives.

Harbin points and seven divisions of public/private schools together is not the perfect form either, but it is better than any alternative I have heard.

Leave it alone and overcome the obstacle.

Zanesville, will need to overcome the obstacle of Alonzo Booth (shockingly a transfer from CW last year). So do it, I guarantee the seniors of Zanesville next year will have to overcome a lot more harder obstacles as they move into life after HS. It will not be the first time someone has beat a team that was "way better".

Good luck Z-Ville
