Clinton-Massie 14 Chillicothe 13

Post by Ohio1234 »

Big Time Game this Friday in Chillicothe, both teams look to be hitting stride, is this the year Chillicothe Knocks Massie off of its SCOL throne? Massie is riding a 50+ game SCOL winning streak but Chillicothe has played them very tough the past 3 years and if not for a few bogus calls last year and a last second td pass two years ago Chillicothe wins both games. Should be the best game in the Area this weekend come early because the O is going to be rocking ! Chillicothe Wins 28-27

Harbin bonanza for one of these teams.

I imagine a win by Chillicothe here gives them a home playoff game?

Chillicothe is Currently sitting in 5th in region 11 a win here most definitely should move them up to 4th I'd love to see Chillicothe host a home playoff game in the new stadium but first thing first it's MASSIE week!

The cavs are very young but have gotten better each week. I think the cavs will win this 28-21. They have 2 common opponents so far. Massive beat Miami trace 24-14 while the cavs blew out Miami trace 56-21. Massive beat Hillsboro 49-8 while the cavs beat Hillsboro 47-7

Massie comes into the game with 3 straight shutouts and 4 of last 5 games they've posted shutouts. Meanwhile they've put up 56,70,49 in those games on offense. Then there's Chillicothe 6-1 but I'm going to be honest haven't really beaten a tough opponent yet. Defeated a down Jackson team by 3 and Jackson had a shot to win it at the end. Miami Trace who hasn't beaten anyone had them tied up at 21 at half and Chillicothe blew the doors off of them in the 4th quarter. I think just looking around at scores and stats going to have to give my prediction to Clinton Massie by 17 wouldn't shock me to see bigger margin of victory. Good Luck to both teams as they prepare for the Friday night and the playoffs. There's a lot on the line in terms of computer points in this one.

Think this is Chillicothe's best shot at ending the Clinton Massie SCOL winning streak. Not saying they do it, just think this may be best shot.

This game has been close with some dramatic endings/close calls in the last couple years.

28-24 in favor of the Cavs

massies only loss coming to a very talented Turpin team and Chillicothe's only loss coming to a very talented and physical Johnstown Monroe team. Johnstown is very similar to Massie as far as physicality. Chillicothe has struggled against physical teams in the past. chilli led Johnstown 12-0 before the wheels fell off but Chillicothe has gotten a lot better throughout the season. I don't think Massie has an Answer for Branden Maughmer the Chillicothe QB who can run and pass. My only concern is Chillicothe's O line play if the line can give him time Chillicothe wins if not it will be a long night. Chillicothe definitely does not fear Massie and has a lot more team speed on both sides of the ball. Special teams will be the deciding factor of this game . Go cavs !

What does that have to do with anything?

Easily the game of the week in our region of the state. Chillicothe should have an opportunity to win in the fourth quarter...I'll go 24-21 Cavs.
