Green goes to 4-3. Green could actually go 5-5 this year if they beat West Union and Northwest, which is highly possible.

That is correct. West Union is a club team.

Would this hurt or benefit green if they were in the playoff hunt? Hopefully this is the last year on the schedule for West Union, especially since I see some good things coming from the Furnace.

West Union will likely be a full varsity in a year or two.

But, Green will win this easily.

not associated with the school, and from what I hear West Union's team may never get directly associated with the school.

Yeah basically the rules don't apply to them as it does to regulated school teams. Not even sure how the age is dealt with on a club team. They've won some games this year, but Green should be able to handle them accordingly. I don't believe Green has to worry about playoff hunt this year but moving forward playing West Union is of no benefit and hurts more then it can help. For this year though it could be another confidence building game.
