Alexander is a very good football... this is an exceptional ZT team! Alexander fans can be very proud... no quit in the young men from Alexander. Many teams would have rolled over after the quick start by ZT, but they came out in the 2nd half and made a game of it

This turned out similar to I predicted. I said 21-7 but...

ZT handling of the RV the way they did alluded a big victory against another TVC team.
Hope they keep it going next week for Ross Co. This coming from a cavalier fan.
Sprained ankles are not something you recover from in 7 days. That scares me.

I heard Harris (QB) went out late in the first quarter and the center got hurt. Who else? They have good athletes that they could move around, but with just one week to prepare against a team like Wheelersburg could be difficult.

With Harris potentially out this turns ZT into an exclusive run team playing right into burgs defense. Mowery is a mismatch on the outside even with the best corners. But if you don't have a qb to throw it he's not useful. Look for 11, 44, 15, 32, and 2 to all get carries and touches. Also starting center (offensive line of the year in the league) went out for ZT in this game with a leg injury.

Congrats to Alexander on a great season! I think ZT didn't get much respect for their undefeated season, and now they are playing in the regional final.

I heard that ZT got off to a quick start in this game like 21-0. Then, the QB went out and they really did not move the ball the rest of the game on offense.

Good solid defense is what I predicted. Should've predicted ZT starting QB to go out and keep the game in arms length. 4 first downs in 1st half. You TVC guys need to get off your soap box
Soapbox???
Back to back state title games and Alex up 14-6 in the second half. 4 T.O.'s resulting in 28 points in the 1st half. Worst game Alex has played all year. No soapbox here. Just facts. Good luck to ZT next week.
Not really concerned with past state title losses rooted for you guys all the way. No it's called giving to respect or credit to Zane Trace. Worst game Alex played all year, and none of that was because of Zane Trace come on man. Lose their starting QB, have double digit penalties held Alex to 4 total first downs in 1st half what else more could they have done. LOL

Think that's a little to close to Wheelersburg plus the parking is terrible. Could be wrong but I'm thinking, Waverly, Valley or possibly Jackson

ZT had three interceptions and each one was their athletes making great plays. Alexander had another three fumbles and two turn over on downs. I agree ZT should have gotten more respect for an undefeated season. They were faster and more aggressive than Alexander was most of the night. When the Spartans took care of the ball we were able to compete, but you cannot have 6 turnovers in a game and expect any different of an outcome. Alexander was equally dealing with injuries, but I guess that is part of the game.

Very proud of the Spartans for a great season. They changed the atmosphere in Albany. Thanks to the coaches, players and fans for a great season.

Congratulations to ZT and good luck the rest of the season.

Well said, get to this point in the playoffs you can't turn it over that much and expect to win. As far as injuries, losing starting QB in the middle of the game is a different story as well as the starting center later in the game. As you said injuries are part of it and you have to deal with it luckily for ZT they had a comfortable lead at the time of the injury to the QB because after he went out it changed game that's for sure. It'll be huge for them to get him back for the Burg game. Congrats to Alexander the year you had nothing to hang your heads about just come up against a really good team in ZT.
