It's burg region to lose. I don't think anyone in 19 can beat them

Seen where liberty union dropped 72 points in a half! That's insane. Are they that good or the other team that bad?

I think garaway and Ridge wood would be tough games for burg to win.

Here's Pasteur's opinion of the region 19 teams so far. He has 'Burg at #2 in D5 and #94 overall with Canton CC at #3 in D5 and #96 overall. And of course, Coldwater at #1in D5 and #21(!!!!) overall.

1. #94 Wheelersburg (3-0)
2. #214 Coshocton (3-0)
3. #223 Sugarcreek Garaway (3-0)
4. #243 W. Lafayette Ridgewood (3-0)
5. #277 Ironton (1-2)
6. #310 Liberty Union (3-0)
7. #329 Ironton Rock Hill (3-0)
8. #372 Harrison Central (2-1)
9. #375 Belmont Union (3-0)
10. #386 Chillicothe Zane Trace (1-2)

Moreso the latter. LU is good, but Cols. East is pretty bad.

Hopefully Burg can win the region again this year but it wont be as easy as last year. Sugarcreek Garaway seems to be playing good again and their qb has thrown for nearly 8,000 yds in his career they throw the ball nearly 30 or 40 times a game . West Lafayette Ridgewood is also a team to watch and I wouldnt overlook Coshocton either. The Pirates definitely need a couple good games before playoffs so maybe Jackson or Waverly especially Waverly will give Burg a good test. JJHUDDLE has Garaway ranked.#3 and Burg #4 but we will see how it all plays out . GO BURG!

Doesn't Garaway have a couple D1 players? Thought I saw where OSU was looking at a lineman from there.

Yes, Honigford from Garaway is committed to Michigan. He is their only D1 player, but the QB and other skill positions are very good.

This is still the Burgs region to lose, but it is tougher than last year. The Ridgewood/Garaway game in Week 6 will go a long way in deciding how this Region shakes out seed wise. Ridgewood also has Region 17 3-0 state ranked Sandy Valley tonight. If they win tonight then I think they are legit. Both Coshocton and Ridgewood are talented senior dominated teams, but I still think Burg has the most talent with Garaway a close 2nd.

It's early but, Burg is going to win this region. As long as they don't suffer any major injuries, they will be in the Shoe. They are fast, talented, and deep.

For burg to win the region they will have to go through Ironton. Ibtt has reported they have now found that chemistry and gelled as they did in the epic sixth grade peewee bowl of 2012.

Ridgewood took out Sandy Valley 31-0. And Garaway won also.

Zane Trace will make the playoffs again in this region. They are 2-2, but football in the SVC is not very strong. They will end up 8-2 or 7-3 unless they have major injuries.

Very surprised by the Ridgewood score.

Portsmouth with a big win vs RH. Trojans can win any game left on the schedule. Lot of football left.

Man, just when I was certain Ironton was gelling Ashland took the 6th grade champs to the woodshed.

From a fan from Coshocton County. The Ridgewood score was about right with SV. SV was not as good as advertised. Garaway plays SV this week I think IMO the game will not be close.Coshocton, Ridgewood, & Garaway all senior led. It looks to me that these are your four home teams for the playoffs with Wheelersburg being the one and the loser of RW & GW. Being the four. Union Local could get a home game. The RW GW game last year was amazing, I give a slight advantage to GW since The QB is healthy this year. Good luck to all teams and hopefully everyone stays healthy.

this region appears to me to be much better then it has the last few years. i still think wheelersburg best. but i think the 6,7,8 seed teams will be much better then in several years. but everyone may starting beating everyone up and then i would be wrong.

I don't know a lot about Zane Trace, but from what I've read and heard about them, if they would have an injury to their quarterback, they're done. The same seems to be the case for my Red Streaks.
