Valley has played a couple pretty decent ball clubs. Piketon recovered from the loss to Waverly with a win against a not very good Vinton County team. This could be a very good game. Waverly will be pulling for the Streaks.

Can throw your SOC brothers a bone?? LOL!! You'll get points either way in this one.

Only 5 posts on this game on Thursday afternoon? Did Valley already turn the lights off?

Hoping Valley gets their first W on the young season. I know Minford handled Piketon easily during their scrimmage. I think it's a very close game but Valley pulls it out.

Good luck Indians

Coop,
I was basing more points for my Tigers with a Piketon win, aren't they D4?

And you would be basing it completely wrong. Waverly would get more for a Valley win.

I think it comes down to has the better night on the ground, I know Birkhimer is dual threat at QB, and Valley has that one pretty solid back, I'm afraid to try to spell his name because I know I will butcher it. Hopeful for an injury free contest.

Well I'm confused. I thought points were earned based on your opponents record and size of their school.

They are.

If you beat two teams that play each other, you want the smaller team to win as they get more first level which become your 2nd level.

I'm confused too toast.
I thought the second level points were based on the size of the school who you beat that won a game.
Example: Piketon being D5 Waverly would get more points than Valley winning who is D6. I didn't think it matters what size school they beat.

I think it's because valley beating a team higher than them gives you more points than piketon beating a team smaller than them
