Watkins Memorial's football isn't as strong as most of their sports.

WM has played two Columbus area teams with only being 4 point shy of 2 and 0
Athens has played one Columbus area team and one near the river team and are 8 points away from 2 and 0

Not sure on this one, but I think Athens has another good shot. Played CW pretty tough.

Watkins looks to have lost everything from last year's team. Athens looks to have a lot more size than Watkins. If Athens can keep the Granville transfer Micheal Reed in check, Athens wins

Athens 21
Watkins 7

I read in our local paper that Athens starting QB was injured last week?
Will he play this week?

If he does and he is 100%.

I say Athens by 14, at least.
If not a I say toss up game.

QB is out. But backup was starter last year. Not a big drop off, but Sano is having a great year at OLB. If they decide to take him off defense to just play QB, that will hurt a bit.

I like this win since Walnut Ridge beat Bishop Watterson 8-3 but lost to Watkins 18-8

But Canal lost to Desales 47-7. Desales is on another level than the rest of region 11

In my opinion, Athens should run the table and make the playoffs.

Good win for them last night.

Great win for the Dogs.. Sano looked great. Tough decision for Coach Adams when Albin is healthy again. Keep it rolling Dogs!
