Rock Hill seems to have made leaps and bounds as of late with their football program. Minford, under a new head coach, should have talent.

In recent year's matchups between these 2 schools the games have never been close. Not sure about this year. If Rock Hill returns a majority of starters from last year's team it could be a dogfight!

I thought the redmen looked better than the grovers did. They have some young guys too that will continue to improve. Haven't seen Minford yet.

I'd like to see the "new" minford regime. I doubt the offense changes any, seeing how the OC is the new HC. But Ruby is definitely a good motivator. I am kind of excited to see the path this takes them on. Rock Hill had a good season last year. I think they will build upon that. Getting a little more confident as the year goes on. My prediction is a fast game. Not much scoring and a lot of ground game. Should be a good game to watch.

In the scrimmage against Piketon, Minford varsity played a half and won 22-7. Piketon scored on their first possession and then Minford adjusted. The Falcons took over from there. I do realize, this Piketon team may not be a good measurement of how the Falcons will do, but it's always good to dominate.

This group of Falcon Seniors and Jr's went undefeated throughout Jr. High, and they have stuck together for the most part. Reports are the Falcons have 67 kids out and the times they've had over 60 kids, not only have they made runs but won an SOCII title.

Don't know much about Minford however I do know they are pretty good and will play hard, so will the Redmen!
