River returns a very good junior running back but Bellaire has a good group of seniors. I like Bellaire 21-14

Bellaire is so overrated cmon they went 2-8 last year. River was a playoff team in the same region. I'll take the Pilots by 7.

Its hard to tell because of the large difference in schedules.

I think River wins 34-14 Or by at least 3 TDs

Bellaire returns the QB and all skill players, one returning lineman and three lineman from Bellaire St. Johns. Bellaire will give up points as the defense will continue to be suspect. Three of the four members of the State qualifying 4x4 ( 3:26 ) return plus a State placer in the 300 hurdles, a four year starter. All members of the 4x2 and 4x1 in 1:33 and 45, not great but ok for D6. If Bellaire looks sharp in their pre season scrimmages then I will take Bellaire. Last season in two 7 on 7 Bellaire bested River fairly easily. The Bellaire QB in the pre season 7 on 7's is now the running back.

Bellaire wins this matchup, 28-21. River is good; however, their schedule was extremely weak last year.

Not humble just the way they act. I am basing this on how the kids acted last year after getting beat by Fort in basketball. Also every year fans seem to hype this team like seriously they went 2-8 last year. This will be a fantastic game but most Big Reds expect to crush the Pilots.

Only five kids on the entire Bellaire BB roster were football players, not sure what you mean by how they acted after the FF loss, FF was favored and the better team. As for a the River prediction, naturally the Bellaire Fans are going with Bellaire and River with River. No doubt the Bellaire Fans have envisioned better results from Bellaire these past several years. Bellaire has clearly underachieved the past two seasons. Personally I doubt Bellaire can do better then 6-4, but I do have River in the 6 column not the 4. The game is at Bellaire.

Could this turn into a high scoring game?

Ditto on the rockcoach post, River wins. I was at the scrimmage too. Bellaire did not look good.

River returns 10 starters on offense and 11 on defense. They are going to beat Bellaire.
