This should be a knock down drag out. Teams went in opposite directions after this game last year. Buck have a lot to prove. Have friends from both schools or live in that area now. Grand kids at NY.

This game will resemble a track meet. The only differences will be that the NY runners won't have anyone nearly as close to them as they do in an actual track meet, and the wee cat runners will appear to be running backwards.

True dat yo! My boy will gouge that 50 defense for a little over 100 yds receiving this year and it will only get worse.

NY probley as the best 3 kids in the league, but never count what you call the wee cats out.Trimble plays with a lot of heart and don't be surprised if they are better then you think. You had the the same 3 headed monster last year, but I will take heart and soul any day.

I don't think you can count either team out in this rivalry.
Both teams will be ready come game time.

This is one of the best rivalries around for a reason.

I use to go to this game when they played at NY. Things changed over the last half dozen years and haven't made it.Use to stand off the side on the visitors side near the fence and that cannon would get me every time.

If every one doesn't know the game is on sat this year, and from what I was told will always be on sat from now on.The gate is bigger and more people can come that works on Fri. Night. Those was the two reasons I was told.I think its a good change

I doubt this game will ever be played on Friday night again as long as it's week one.

I still think this game should he week 10 though.

A true opinion, a very close game with N-Y winning for the new coach, That is if he blends into the system or is able to install his system?

Sometimes you can just sense when the tide turns for a team, from 90 miles away or so this feels like it may be one of those times for NY.

A bookend Week 1 and Week 10 win would prove that, I think they get the first, have to see about the other one.

I hope to be able to see both of these teams in the pre-season as my Oaks scrimmage NY at home and then travel to Trimble a few days later.

Is Trimble going to take over the old coal mine property?

I think Trimble gets the win in a close, hard hitting game.

Good luck and good health to both teams.

NY has just about every starter back and they won at Trimble last year. Trimble is not rebuilding buy will have a lot of new starters. Tight 1st qrt. then NY pulls away 35 - 13.

I think you are close cause Rusty will call off the dogs once he introduces Uncle Phil to what the next several years are going to be like. To quote a long time NY fan, "we gots us a winner in town..." I don't think old man Watkins will give up 13 to the wee cats though. Someone said he never gave up that many to Phil in his earlier stint as DC. I saw the wee cat coaches walking out after watching some of the 7-o-7 at NY the other day. They were speechless with heads shaking. I think they realize now the speed NY has is more than they can match up with. Heard from a wee cat fan that Trimble showed a little speed in their 7-o-7 but no where near what NY has nor the athletes. If the O-Line can come together this all spells a long night for "Uncle Phil."

I think we can all agree NY has some pretty good talent with the Edwards boy. With that said Trimble has always been a football school and will come out ready to play. I just hope for a good game with no injuries... I think it will be exciting to watch Cameron Curry and the rest of the boy's. The freshman class has a lot of talent in it.

May the best team WIN !!!

GO CATS
