Fort Frye 35 Belpre 0

Post by EasternDspy »

Last year all off season Belpre talked about how they were going to smash Fort Frye only to lose 26-6 in Beverly. Both teams could be playoff teams in 2016. Fort Frye returns 16 Srs and are loaded coming off a 10-0 season.

Fort Frye will gain this win. Will not be ez because Fort lost a few lineman and those don't grow on treas.

Fort Frye returns 3 or 4 lineman that started last season. Of course when you lose an All-State guard and 3 year starter in Knotts it hurts. Watch out for Sr Lineman Owen Matheny and Guard Logan Isner I believe they are 2 of the best lineman in the PVC.

Fort Frye should win but Belpre should fight for second in the TVC Hocking.

From what I remember they only had like 25 guys and 9 Srs. Lost 4 year QB in Miller. Return stud in Bedgood who I heard might play QB. Also they had one really good freshman last year.

Belpre had 33 on their roster with 12 of them being seniors. Losing Miller, Stalnaker, Mason, Colvin, Counts, Moore, and Worstell will hurt. They do return Bedgood, Simoniette, Reams, and Tullius and will have a good group of freshman coming in.

I think that Fort Frye will take this one. Although the players that do return are good players, it will take some time and hard work to get them to the level that they need to be to fill the holes left by the seniors

I honestly think this Fort Frye team has the potential to be the best Fort Frye team ever. If they make it to the playoffs for the 4th time in 5 years that would be a great feat for coach Huck and his staff.

It has been said that Belpre will have The Salesman back as HC next year. If so look out cause that sure did spell success for them in the past.

Fort Frye will smash through everyone going 10-0 and be lucky to host a playoff game with everyone being down on their schedule. Look for them to get the 4-5 seed

I am hoping that everything works itself out I mean last year the won the region reg season. I think Waterford , Northridge, Monroe , and Trail will be better this season then last year but not sure how much better. Cadets do have 6 home games this year which helps. @ Caldwell could be a really tough game. I say if they go 10-0 they get the 3 seed.

Waterford is the key. Fort will get all the PVC points regardless as they will win them all.

Northridge is D5 and could win 6 or 7 that's huge.

FF returns 16 seniors while Belpre loses 12.

This game will be a match up of an experienced veteran FF team vs a lesser experienced Belpre team.

I would say that FF should be heavily favored to win this game and also have a very good chance of going 10-0.

Good luck and good health to both teams.

As always...LETS GO EAGLES!!!

No offense to Belpre, but I see Fort Frye winning 35-7. Earlier this winter I know I may have trolled the Cadets on these forums and poked a little fun at some of their supporters, but the more I learn about what they really have coming back (which I'll admit I was blind to at first) the more I come to the realization that they are going to do some damage this season and potentially make some playoff noise. I can see them winning their region and staying alive until they have to face a team like Marion Local or Kirtland.
