Playoffs #6 Shadyside @ #3 Trimble

Post by tomcat fan »

A rematch of the last 2 region 25 championship games in the first round. Trimble needs a good week of practice and not take Shadyside lightly. They're not your typical 4-6 team. They've beaten a couple quality opponents. Go Cats

Shadyside is playing very well right now. This may not have been the best time to catch yhem. I would not be surprised if Shadyside wins at the sty.

Trimble has a good team clearly but like indianabuck said they are catching Shady at the wrong time.

Shadyside has been playing better ball after the Logan game and at the same time Trimble seem to get better every game after game one. Trimble just might have the speed in this one.

Shadyside played a pretty tough schedule. Most of the teams are in the playoffs. Tough road game nothing new to them.

Shadyside did get owned by the PVC. Coming off a win over River Valley not sure if the Raiders are for real. Shadyside struggles to score points. I still think Trimble wins.

The Tomcats better be ready to play. I'm sure Shadyside is gonna be pretty feisty for a 4-6 squad. Take em lightly and basketball season will start early in Glouster.

I would not base anything off the River Valley win. RV is a and has been a passing team all year and this game meant nothing to them obviously by the fact they only had 4 pass attempts the entire game.

Why would you want to lose going into the playoffs makes no sense. Everyone said Shadyside would beat RV and they did.

So in your opinion, RV did not try to win this game? They just threw it?

This one will be a real cat fight........... ;) The Tigers are playing much better as the season has progressed, and as a few have mentioned, have played an absolutely brutal schedule. Have a feeling that this will be a very close game, but I am going with the Tomcats since the game is in Glouster Stadium.

Slim Shady only beat 2 teams with winning records DVll Toronto who only beat 1 team with a winning record and DV River Valley,How do they get points from the good teams that they lost too because they didn't beat the teams on their "tough schedule". Can't see how playing a tough schedule gets you in the playoffs if you don't beat any of the tough teams on the schedule.Don't think they have beaten anyone as good as Trimble.

Shadyside ain't no joke wouldn't worry about that record. I think Trimble will win but it won't be a blowout. Trimble barely beat Waterford.

Never considered them a joke but don't see how people consider them to be so much better than Trimble when they only beat 2 teams with winning records and lost to Magnolia by 40,MC by 13,Caldwell by 21,Meadowbrooke by 35,Logan by 28 and Wheeling Central by 11,I will never see how that record deserves a # 6 seed in the first place.
