Re: Playoffs #8 Fredericktown @ #1 Fort Frye
I say Cadets are a 2 point favorite but this game could go either way I say either way it won't be an upset.

LBs Layton, Carpenter, Bradford , and Rice will need to buckle us the chins straps and tackle because they like to spread it out and pound it with the big line. Team speed don't seem to be a huge strength of the Freedies

All things being equal, I hope the long bus ride puts The Freddies to sleep.

Calpreps has moved Fort from a 2 point favorite to a 5 point favorite.

I guess in the Freddie's last game Star QB Dillion Smith went down with what sounds like a bad knee injury he was replaced by Sr Kirk Manns. Fredericktown didn't skip a beat they ran for over 400 yards only passing 4 times. Tough break for Fredericktown

Freddies have a tough schedule and are a football program year in and year out. As a PVC fan who moved north near fredricktown I have not got to see Fort this year but I am pulling for them to make a run. Think this will be a good one with a couple hard nose teams!
They really have similar schedules with danville and caldwell the tough games. Obviously Fort won theirs and Fredricktown lost. Based on scores and some talk i have heard from back home Fort is a really good team and I think they will win it by 14

I have a really good feeling about this game. If Ben Smith and Dillon Smith are out that's 2 1000 yard rushers Fredericktown will be without. Though they have other rbs in Reed and Ohl. Last 3 games Caldwell, Wirt ,and Shenandoah have all 80 percent or more run teams and that should help Fort in this one. Still Cadets need to play better then they have recently. Fort Frye seems to fall asleep at times and still have not played 4 good quarters of football. When this team puts it together they could be special.

Good luck to the Cadets in this one. Seems like the injury bug hit Fredricktown hard lately, but I'm sure they'll still field a quality team. Originally I thought this could be a potential upset, but reading what I have recently, I'll take the Cadets by 2 scores. Represent the PVC well!

Fort Frye's line has been a strength all year. I'd love to see them put together some great execution this weekend in the playoffs. Those turnovers will start catching up to us pretty fast against these better teams.

I think the Cadets finished plus 17 in turnover differential but had more turnovers in last 3 games then the first 7 games
Re: Playoffs #8 Fredericktown @ #1 Fort Frye
Now that the game is upon us . . . I'd say Fort Frye will win by more than 2 touchdowns. I'm feeling a 30-13 Cadet victory.
