A win over Jackson in Week 9 and a Jackson win over Cabell-Midland, our opponent in Week 10 (a WV school that is classified as D1 by OHSAA due to their size I think) may get you close.

I would think if you got a #8 seed in Region 8 that whoever the #1 seed is would not be happy lol, Troy or Turpin from the looks of it now.

Safe travels in tomorrow night if you are making the trip.

An Elder win over LaSalle wouldn't hurt us either. Not to look ahead, what does Jackson chances against Cabell-Midland look like?

In Week 10 we should get a key component back on our line, and assuming we do not get too banged up this week, I personally like our chances in Week 10.

You guys are missing a key starting lineman? Honestly that could be a huge problem for the Ironmen if there is a big dropoff with the backup. Does this lineman play offense or defense?

Both ways, senior captain, very good player and leader.

Our backups are very solid, just younger, sounds a lot like what you are dealing with.

It's hard to tell. It's big for WW since Cabell Midland is D1(6.5). I wanna say Midland is young but will have a massive roster and a big line.

Loss 34-31 to #8 Hurricane
Loss 55-26 to #2 Spring Valley
Loss 42-23 to #3 Capital
Loss 35-21 to Belfry(they are the coldwater of Kentucky)

After tonight's results, it looks to me like Jackson CANNOT make the playoffs at 7-3 unless Sheridan loses to New Lex and Athens loses to NY. This is just with some quick projections, so it's not official, but it seems to me that tomorrow night is absolutely a MUST win to have a chance at Week 11.

Driving up to see this one, if I get a chance I will try and put out some updates.

See if the Ironmen can't pull off what would have to be one of the bigger upsets in their program. Any Jackson fans able to list some of the huge upsets during the past 10-15 years? Wasn't there one in 2005-ish in Cincinnati during week 12 or something? Was it against Winton??
