Jackson has used McCoy at QB a fair amount already this season. It's not something new. It puts the ball in the hands of their most dynamic player on every snap. I have no idea how much we'll see that on Friday night, but if we do, it's something that Jackson has used and is familiar with. They're not potentially changing their entire strategy specifically for this game.

I read that McCoy is averaging 9.1 yards per carry, that's really good. Burg Defense has been great this year. BIG task for Burg D but I know they are up to it.

Jackson just needs to stay loose and play football. No one other than a few Jackson guys giving them any kind of chance . Most think this will be a 40 even 50 point win for burg.

I have enjoyed reading the posts on this thread more than any I can remember in a long time. For the most part all have been intelligent and respectful of each program with the classic zinger here and there. Great respect to the Jackson program and the halls and coaching staff and hope to see Jackson make a deep playoff run. For tonite , gonna be backin my pirates all the way. Let's go burg

Burg is a great team. Burg can't be held responsible for the lack of success of the other teams that they've played in the first 4 games this year. 4 running clocks with many more to come this year. Jackson is good, and this will be a good game.

Falcon, I think a lot of teams around here are having good years so far. I know West is 4-0, Waverly 4-0, Jackson 4-0, Burg 4-0. I do think tonight will be a great game and I'm predicting 45-17.

Gut instinct says burg wins, perhaps big but who knows. Burg has honestly not beaten any team that Jackson wouldn't have beaten just as soundly. Jackson blew out F.U. 31-7 they are likely a division 4 playoff team but they too have some big games yet. I have no dog in the fight but I honestly think this game could go either way but like I said gut says burg

We know the clock will be running but the question is will it stop in the second half? Good night and venue for HS football. Beauty of Pirate opponents is that there is always hope till kickoff. Should be fun to watch.
