Totally unbiased evaluation Zanesville really done a nice job dominating the line of scrimmage and Crosby was a man on a mission really takes that initial contact with a spin or jump keeps that momentum going breaks a lot of first tackles. I would like to see the fumbles and there was a certain holding call on a WR on a 1st-20 play right in front of a ref who didn't throw the flag all night but to give a coaches warning, but the corner had his back turned to the ball carrier head spun around and couldn't get off the WR as the RB was running by. Jackson had a great season and definitely nothing to hang their heads about. Zanesville moving forward liked the smaller defensive line very quick and they made tackles right a the point of contact. Whether it was the defense they were calling tonight or what, Zanesville pass defense is VERY VERY suspect and will be a liability heading forward, only coming up against teams that 80-90% run works out well for them but facing a team that is very capable of passing will end their season. Like I said though could've just been defense they were calling, Jackson Wr wide open on long TD pass, they got a interception on a tip but the WR was 3-4 yards beyond the corner ball just under thrown. Congrats to both teams each team had some penalties that hurt, and seemed each fumble was going against Jackson and some how Zanesville guy was always down, 2-3 different times love to see the replay on them but all in all a clean well played game by both clubs, Zanesville just controlled the line of scrimmage and when there was a free guy Crosby was making that guy miss the initial tackle just about every time. Good luck going forward to Zanesville and congrats to Jackson on great season and from what I've been reading looks like next year is the year people in Ironman country are waiting for.
Had a guy on another forum say that he would not be surprised if it would be Zanesville/Trotwood for a public school championship and have Hoban/Central Catholic as a private school championship.
Zanesville looked like the D2 school they were just a year ago, size and strength at LOS was just too much tonight. Crosby kid #36 was a strong runner and had good blocking by the o-line, he was a load downhill.
Well Jackson now has a blueprint so to speak for what it may take next year to even go another step and win Week 13. In my opinion the pieces are there for yet another run. A lot if not all of these kids will put the work in to get stronger, faster, better this summer. You saw what it took tonight, so go put the work in.
Good luck to the Blue Devils moving forward.
For all the seniors you have no idea how much joy you have brought me watching you since 3rd grade on Harding Avenue, I would not trade any of these last 10 years for anything, truly you are all so special to me. Congratulations, job well done.

Such a great group. I also have really enjoyed watching them. They have definitely set a great example for future teams. Good luck to each of them going forward
