He could be flirting with 3000 after the West game. :D

What are his stats on the season?
According to Max Preps
Through 9 games
70-134 819 yards 9 TD's 8 interceptions
170 carries 1437 yards and 11 TD's

He's got great legs but he has thrown almost as many pics as TD's.
He's the best QB in the area and it's not close
Wouldn't say, not even close. he has 2256 total yards as a running back playing QB. (but I give the kid credit, he's good)
Salyers and Howell have more total yards and Td's as QB's

I watched him put his entire on his back Friday night and they almost won.
Kid is talented and plays with a lot of heart.

Brenden Maughmer, Chillicothe
Otto Kuhns, Bloom-Carroll (only a sophomore, he's going to be a good one).

Howell and Salyers are the top2.

Burg has 2 back up QB's that could start for any other team in SEO.....let that sink in

Let's see the other area QBs play against Marion Franklin and Hartley and see what the stats look like ! Maughmer has 8 ints and 5 are against those two teams. He is the best dual threat QB in the area! And have a very good arm the offense is just designed around the run and short option passing game. If he aired it out 25-30 times a game he'd easily have 2500 through the air just not coach Hinton's style Chillicothe is 7-2 without Maughmer they 5-4 or 4-5 . Can't teach his intangibles!

I don’t understand why if you have a QB who’s that good, why you wouldn't him in the best situation to succeed?? :? His style or not, let the kid do work.

Next season you can watch Trent play against Hartley.... maughmer is a great athlete. He would be better as an h back or in a slot position.

Exactly. Burg has a first team all state qb sitting on the bench. This burg team has some serious depth.
