Lol

Think Burg speed and physicality and Defense will be key to this one. We get the W and get good prep for Waverly.

Jackson has plenty of physicality themselves...Waverly may be catching Burg at the perfect time.

DONT HOLD NOTHIN BACK 92!! TELL US HOW YA REALLY FEEL!!! AINT NO SKIN OFFEN MY TOES!! LIKE WATER OFFEN A DUCKS BACK.. WIN SOME LOSE SOME... CATCH MORE FLIES WITH HONEY THAN VINEGAR...2 BIRDS 1 STONE.. DONT MAKE ME REMIND YA OF THE OVERALL SERIES RECORD!!!!.... I REMEMBER BACK IN 1914 WHEN THESE TEAMS FIRST... Holy crap!!! I'm sorry everyone.. For a minute there I obviously WAS tiger bait!!!! Now that I'm back to normal IMO this game will be very close, Jackson is way more battle-tested that our young burg team whom so far has been on cruise control... Really wanna see how they respond to some adversity! Hoping for a great game go burg!!!!!

Calm down!!! We all know it's going to be a good, hard fought game. Like i said earlier, in this playoff type game/atmosphere, the team who plays closer to perfect will win! Just like when burg plays hartley or when Jackson plays Desales in the playoffs, albeit we seem to always lose those games, but you get my point!

Last Year, If burg played coldwater the way they played Jackson....maybe a closer game??? or a state title appearance

In 2014, If Jackson played Desales the way they played burg. I think we win that game and go the the elite 8

Awesome post lol
Jackson is also very very young with 6-7 Sophs and a freshmen starting

These two programs seem to be on the rise as a lot of our area programs shrinking . Both programs have 80-100 kids . Both will be well coach and well prepared . This has turned into a great rivalry .

Another thing. I don't think It's coincidence that coach hall junior and senior are burg guys and have the program looking a lot like Burg.

Umm, and then get destroyed in Week 13 like DeSales did against Athens lol.

The last two years both teams played horrible home games.

Lol thx, just trying to keep some fun here, I love this series and definitely wanna keep it goin without it turning into a replica burg/ironton fiasco.... Shouldn't be too hard tho there's a lot of respect between these two teams. Man is it Friday yet!!!!

Athens 2014 destroys any team Around here the last 30 years and maybe ever . Athens 2014 would hang a running clock on any burg team the last 30 years . Not even close . So yeah Jackson would've been rolled too

I'd rather get destroyed by Joey Burrow and have an extra week of football than to lose to those catholic recruiters up north lol. And the bad thing is, they're still in our region and look tough as ever.....ughhhh
No love for the catholic schools here

First off, probably the funniest truth I've ever seen posted! Secondly, this game has the potential to be the best game in Ohio.. Both team are playing very well. Both are physical and fast!! Can't wait till Friday!

Agree bro, much rather get smashed by a public school than lose anything to a Catholic school.
