I've seen these juniors and seniors play since they was in pee wee. I always knew they was going to be a special group of kids

Great game by the Tigers. They cleaned up a little sloppiness from last week and looked sharp on both sides of the ball.

Not sure of the completion/attempts ratio but Howell threw for 297 yards and 4 TD's, 3 to Cade Marques and one to Tariq Gilbert. Harris had to be close to 100 yards rushing. Two shutouts to start the season.

5 TD's.. Also threw one to Easton Wolf. I believe he went 18-23 passing.

Beat the favorite to win the SVC and once again no coverage in the Chillicothe Gazette online. Looks like a blatant refusal to cover Waverly.

Nobody from Waverly buys the Gazette, so they stopped covering years ago when they dropped to a one person Sports department. They do an amazing job covering Chillicothe and the SVC with one full time and 2 part timers. Pretty difficult to cover 9 local games with 3 writers.

Go buy the News Watchmen, I'm sure they'll have coverage.

Zane Trace is in the SVC and favored to win the league, that was my point. Obviously they didn't cover the favorite to win the league for some reason.

Nobody from Waverly buys the gazette!

That might be the dumbest thing I have ever read.

Chillicothe, Southeastern, and Paint Valley played at home. They covered the closer schools. Sorry that you want to pout about this, maybe when they cover the game next week and talk more about Unioto, you'll pout even more, even if the Tigers roll again.

danicalifornia,
Wasn't pouting but I just checked again and there is a short recap on the Z.T. at Waverly game in with the article about Unioto vs Greenfield. I don't know what was in the print edition.

It's a good point to be made about the paper coverage. In the past since I've been here the paper has really only covered chilly and the top team in the svc. All others get lumped together in a minor mention. You would think after zt season last year bout all there games would be covered. When paint valley is winning seems like they have the game of the week every Friday idk what they use to decide.
