I agree this will be a good game. Much better than most on the huddle seem to think.

I saw PV play at chillicothe high school in the ross county season opener. They played Fisher Catholic. I walked away thinking 2 things. 1. Wow, PV is reallllllly good. Their QB can flat out spin the ball. Their RB is a bruiser and very athletic. 2. Fisher Catholic is realllllly bad. I must have said it 10 times that night "this team wont win a game." well, that team went 6-4.
NC just has that much more experience. whole new teams, whole new circumstance. I think this game will be close. But i just dont think NC has seen the athletes PV has. They should be 10-0 if they didnt have to play in that goat track they called a field at zane trace.

NC 14
PV 28

pv did what they needed to do against zt- take out their players- it didnt quite work out because they still couldnt make plays against 2nd stringers

FC had a very late coaching change (we're talking late July) that affected their ability to play four Q's with PV. They didn't gel until week 3, in which they played solid defense and methodical offense. They were a much better team up until week 8 when they had too many key injuries. At their peak, they would've lost to PV by at least three scores still.

Like I mentioned earlier, I think PV wins this game. But, it's hard to bet against NC! They have experience, and they always play well come playoff time.

Wrestlefan... was at the ZT PV game and would like to know what you are referencing by constantly insinuating that PV somehow meant to cause injuries... understand, I do not have a dog in the fight, but just stating I didn't see anything dirty... just solid physical football. Just wondering what you may have seen that I did not?

it is interesting that on the wkkj podcast, the radio announcer says on live radio at the 22:15 minute point in the second quarter that a pv player is adding a twist to the end of every tackle
the radio guy that has no school affiliation saw it and pointed it out the play after dunkle got hurt

Newark Catholic opponents record
W 47 L 51
Wins over teams with wining record
1
Points for
209
Points against
144
Road record
W 4 L 1

Paint Valley opponents record
48 L 52
Wins over team with winning record
2
Points for
330
Points against
106
Home record
5-0

QB-Nod goes to Paint Valley in a huge way
RB- Overall Paint Valley
WREC Lake best on field/Nod N.C.
LINES- If injuries are still hurting N.C. edge to Bearcats, if healthy Its a toss up.
LB- Both have a stud, with Jurden the best of all. Edge N.C.
Sec- Slight edge to Bearcats

Just my opinion and means nothing in the scope of how the game plays out

I want and hope Newark Catholic wins but I picked Paint Valley in the pick'em contest.

How can you not mention the big play guy Judd Lewis! Also I heard NC QB is like a 40 percent passer.

Judd (MVP) Lewis is a stud.
And I should have included him.
46% last I heard, on the radio.

Don't know how good NC is but I've seen plenty of both McFaddens tearing up the past couple of years, they also have one of the top track athletes in Ohio, Tony Hatfield, at receiver. Also a good bit of playoff experience should be a shootout if NC can keep up.
