Trimble Defense is great and all but shutouts against the TVC-Hocking isn’t extremely impressive. Strength of schedule has never really been there

They shut out Harvest Prep in the 2nd round and held Lucas to 14 in regional finals. That's pretty impressive since Harvest Prep was an extremely fast team and Lucas had a feature back that went for over 2k yards against a tough schedule

Yes that is great, I don’t think anyone would say it isn’t. Just over a span of a season their schedule is weak until the playoffs. I know they only have one game to schedule if you count NY and it’s not their fault the Hocking is weak but I would be more impressed if they was in the Ohio.

The bottom teams are much better then Miller, Federal Hocking, Wahama, South Gallia. Besides Athens & NY. Wellston, Meigs, VC are better then those teams almost every year. Trimble would win the Ohio every year they beat NY and their playoff points would be much improved.

Agree maybe 50 percent of that statement.Waterford,Southern and Wahama when they were all up not to far behind Wellston,Vinton and Meigs yes the other 3 Hocking teams are bad really bad I personally don’t have a problem going to the Ohio we played them all 35 40 years ago and played with them for the most part. But we will be dropping back down in 2 years so it will never happen.

That’s fair. I don’t think Athens would like it anyway. Getting beat by two 6’s or a 6 and a 7.

They shut out Harvest Prep in the 2nd round and held Lucas to 14 in regional finals. That's pretty impressive since Harvest Prep was an extremely fast team and Lucas had a feature back that went for over 2k yards against a tough schedule
FYI: When they "held Lucas to 14" that wasn't a shut out. Just sayin.

Both scrimmages I’ve watched I’m pretty sure NY QB completed more passes to the opposing team. NY won’t be able to have any turnovers to have any chance. I watched several Trimble games last year and I thought they had 8 or so seniors that contributed. Yes teams reload but to say same team I believe is incorrect.

Trimble did graduate a couple really good players but all the starters except maybe 1 contributed last year too. Should be another fun year in Glouster

Care to explain?
Oh I guess that did sound a little funky.. what I mean was Wilburn seems like a smart kid with a very bright future, coming off an injury in the preseason- if this becomes a 3 score game I see him sitting the rest of the game out to play it safe with his hand or thumb or whatever the injury is. If he was in a cast I’d say it’s serious enough to play it safe.

Game is almost here. I always love the atmosphere this game has. Being on Saturday everybody can come that don’t go see Jackson and Wellston. As for the game, it’s going to be a tall task for the bucks. It will have to be a valiant effort to win this one. Mistake free and all you got on ever single play. Most importantly from what I have heard, the kids believe they can go over the hill and win. 18 of 22 starters knows how the beating felt last year. If they don’t show up with the will to play their best game, the result will be the same if not worse. Trimbles defense will be stout, and that wishbone will wear you down, down after down. Look for good seasons for both teams after this game. If Trimble wins they will be 10-0 if not 9-1 at worse. After the bucks get out of week 1&2, 8-2 becomes a very good possibility. Hope for an injury free game on both sides, good atmosphere, good weather. Also excited to see the new and improved stadium, have only seen photos. My final prediction on the game, I got to do it, bucks in a close one.

Go Bucks!!

I see this game being like a Trimble vs Miller or a Trimble vs Fed game. Trimble will dominate in all phases!
