They somehow missed the play when their corner tackled Maddox and wasn’t a PI but oh well
They made the right calls when the game was on the line. That’s all that matters

Between this, their facilities and support, Waverly really is top notch in SE Ohio

Thanks for sharing, smurray

Congratulations to Unioto. Good athletes, good coaching. Definite contender for the SVC and the playoffs.

For Waverly, perhaps a needed dose of reality of where they are as a team and what they will face the next six weeks. Honestly it is a testament to Coach Crabtree and the players that the Tigers are 2-1 and will not give up against any opponent.

I agree. Your staff has really built something. I get the gripe about some of the play calling. I was surprised when you guys were up one and started throwing. Sometimes it is hard when your team doesn’t fit your system and it can be hard to go away from what you know. I thought we did a good job of bottling up your back but when you can consistently get 4 and 5 yards you have to take it. Or take a shot but go back to it next play. I think they will get it fixed and waverly will have a good year again.

Do you happen to know what the gate was? Talked to several fans that said they couldn’t get in till mid way first quarter. They said line was out to the road. Seemed like a massive crowd, definitely biggest I’ve seen for a unioto game.

Gate was over $8000. All cheer night + alumni band + a large nearby visiting school makes for a large gate. Next week could be the same with homecoming vs Chillicothe.
