Week 6: Martins Ferry (3-2) @ Fairfield Christian (4-1)

FCC could be in good position in R27 with a win. Purple Riders lost to two good 4-1 teams in St. Clairsville and Tuscarawas Valley.

FCA*, for what it’s worth.

Weird game. MF might have a 3:1 player ratio on the Knights. It’s also a Saturday game.

Didn't realize that about the FCA and forgot its a Saturday game. Ferry could wear them down by 2nd half.

This might be an example of a team’s record not being a true indication of that team , Ferry wins .

huh? Do you not think FCA is truly a 4-1 team? What are we even doing here?

Any more info on FCA? From the highlights of games I seen of them they look to be a pass first and often offense, 80/20 pass/run is my guess. They seem to have decent speed and okay size but it's hard to judge that on highlight videos. How is the stadium to watch a game?

I believe they still play at Millersport. They built a stadium behind the school last year but there aren't bleachers installed yet.

This is now my night game.
For those going to eat Pizza Cottage in Buckeye Lake is a treat.

The Pizza Cottage is way easier to get to than Papa Boo’s. It’s right on 79 in the village of Buckeye Lake, south of 70. Papa Boo’s is fantastic — just not the easiest drive.
