Terry the Tiger.. Ironton

Post by I-TownFanatic »

I'm telling you now, put that kid in the wildcat and let him do his thing. Every time that kid touches the ball its a spectacle. Flashes of Jackson

Best Ironton team in forever...

Very good team so far, comparable to 2020. This team and 2020 had/have 1 major offensive weapon with some role players around them. Not in the same league as 2019 or 2022 yet, but they’re headed that direction. We need to find some more weapons, I know they’re there. Terry is extremely special, best offensive tool box I’ve seen in a very long time.

Carmon looked explosive tonight out of the backfield.

I have said multiple times, Carmon should be the #2 back on this team. Great vision and balance. The freshman, Edwards, flashed some great spreed tonight as well. He and Terry together make a very scary package.

If...The Tigers play next week the way they did the first quarter this week, they will be absolutely embarrassed.

Yes! I'm very excited watching Terry BUT its not all rainbow and sunshine at Tank. Many mIstakes! passing is so so at best..botched snaps one after another resulting in fumbles.

Ironton has a stable of backs but oh the passing game! Can't let that one go as its stuck in my head

No rest for the Tigers this week. Midland is gonna be a definite handful. I think it will be a nice game to watch for sure. As for the Fairland game,I'm still wondering what's up at center. I noticed we switched centers, but was it fir the better? A lot of low and slow snaps created problems with the Qb and Rb exchange. Backs need to hit the hole full speed, they couldn't do that last night.

Terry is incredible.

Time to dig deep & tap into the weapons around him as well.

MidLand will be tough to battle, but “We’ll show up”.

Stay healthy FighTing Tigers.

Not to knock this year's Ironton team but wait until next year when they will put Terry with Williams and Edwatds. This is going to be a sight to behold.

Thacker was 9 for 13 passing for 223 yards and 4 tds. He ran 10 times for 75 yards and 1 td. His QB rating was 156.3. He is improving every game.

I agree with the center snaps. Been a problem all year. They have got to get this under control. This is a young team that will improve with every game. If they stay healthy I don't think I would want to meet them in the playoffs.

Something I just learned, Shaun Terry and O J Mayo are cousins.
