The Burg is averaging 55.5 points per game and giving up 15.5 so far in the playoffs. I'm sure Prep's D is better than either team they just played, but just how many points do you want them to score??
So burg has fixed the offense in the last 2 playoff games? HP will put up points and burg will need atleast 31 to beat them. 3 games ago Burg scored 7pts vs a good west team. Everyone in here knows burgs weakness is the offensive play calling and QB play. I’m not sold it’s fixed already by playing 2 games in the playoffs
Jones has put together another solid season at QB for Burg. Last 2 games, they have taken shots downfield and he has hit them. He is at his best staying in the pocket and throwing between the numbers. Early in year they were rolling him out and he really struggled with those throws.

Feels like Jones has taken a lot of unfair criticism last 2 years. Might be time for people to realize he’s a solid QB and leader in the locker room, and the right choice at QB for this team.*

Hard to say you have to remember HP loses guys like that they just go look at other teams rosters and offer them tuition to come play at HP, so it's not that same as say a Burg losing seniors like that.
Kind of sounds like what a certain Lawrence county team does each season.

Burgs offense has been fine all year. Never said it was "fixed" but it has looked good so far in the playoffs.

In the West M game, Prep had 2 TD's called back maybe 3, the game could have been a lot worse easily. HP moves on. The Warriors w Coach Smith are just a tough team. Always are. They're proven year in and year out. The difference in this year's team - they can score or make big plays from multiple players. You can't just key on one guy. The Wheelersburg game should be a good one. Should be a slug fest. From the Regional Semi Finals forward - everyone is there for a reason.

Totally agree! Burg is 5-1 in the playoffs the last 2 seasons with him at quarterback

Seems like Burg heard the same thing last year going into the game against HP. Burg doesn’t have a chance. Going to be a blowout. Burg made it a game and had the lead at half.

HP made adjustments at the half and Burg didn’t.

Burg will need to control the clock by having long sustained drives that have to come away with TD’s. Keep HP’s offense on the sideline as much as possible.

I think HP knows they will be in a dogfight!

Congrats Pirates for making it to the Regional Semifinals against Harvest Prep. A win may not be probable to a lot of people, but to the Burg it is always possible.

Lol...the “Porter Township” thing is a nice touch. Hoping for an all-SOC II rematch in Regional Finals as well.*

Dumb question but do the teams have to agree on a site? Say waverly was a option and harvest prep said no. Or OHSAA pick

Not sure what the complaint is about agreeing or not agreeing on a site. NY has treated teams very well as hosts over the years lol
