Every team Fort has played would be undefeated with Caldwells schedule.

Maybe Buckeye local beats Waterford but that’s a toss up.

Btw Caldwell renewed this game it will be week 8 in 2023 and week 5 in 24 and 25. I have mad respect for Caldwell and Waterford. I did hear that they make most money playing Shenandoah and Fort Frye so it’s best to have them on rotating years.

Man you really love dogging on this schedule for no reason don’t you. Go ahead and tell me who Caldwell should have scheduled. Who’s gonna schedule a D7 team with limited success the past couple years. You know darn well most of the schedule is long time opponents from the PVC. Buckeye Local is a member of the MOVL which they’ll be joining, so makes sense to play them. SCC and CV have played them in the past.

How many years of success did it take Fort Frye to finally build up the schedule to what it is now? For someone who follows football like you do I’d think you’d know that you don’t build a program for success by scheduling powerhouses every week. Don’t act like FF has always played a schedule like this years. I can remember when it wasn’t all Bellaire, Linsly, and Zanesville but Fed Hock, Magnolia, and Wirt County. No one is doubting that FF’s schedule is undoubtedly harder than Caldwell’s. But you can only play the teams that are available and that show up in front of you.

As for the game, I would love to see Caldwell pull off the victory but I’m more than aware that’s probably not going to happen. Fort Frye has been too good for too long to lose a game like this.

I’ll say this as an independent which Caldwell was it’s hard to schedule. You just got to kinda play teams that will play you.

In the paper coach Rucker said the key is uptempo I’m not sure they can run the no huddle like Linsly.

Hope for the same only this year at the fairgrounds! This is the ball game I’ll be attending. Give me the Cadets but it’ll be closer than most think!
Fort Frye won that on a half back pass Casey Lewis to Garrett Lochary.

Caldwell ran direct snap to Clark like 40 times.

Ridenour dropped game winning Td
Actually the Cadets won the game on a Swing Pass to Clay Baker on a 4th and 7 from their own 43 that Baker broke and took to the house with a minute remaining. Also fun fact about the play Coach Chance Rucker was the last redskin to touch Baker on the play as he was trucked by him on his way to the end zone

That was a great game! I was the AD then, it was intense! I have to have video evidence of coach Ruck getting "trucked!" I don't remember that at all and he's a big boy! Not to mention he was a D lineman. Fort played as well as they could that night, hit some big/trick plays and made plays when they needed. Jack had one drop in his hs career that I recall and it was that one in the endzone to win it. Most don't remember but Caldwell played the entire season after week one without their all-Ohio RB Bricker Lori who missed the year with a knee injury. Caldwell was expected to win that night and Fort upset them, both teams were excellent. Hoping for as exciting a game tonight! Good luck to both teams, hope they all stay healthy for deep playoff runs!
