For the record, Nelsonville-York voted yes to admit Fort Frye.

After driving to Meadowbrook last Friday, there’s no way I would want to drive to Beverly on a consistent basis. Just getting to Belpre seemed to take forever. Glad we don’t have that trip anymore.

Seems like Fort Frye, Warren, and Oak Hill should be in the TVC

The Buckeyes have the defense to play with Fort Frye. They will have to be on their game offensively to come out with a win.

Offense showed up last night. Definitely need a big defensive game to have a chance against Fart Frye.

NYs defense has been playing very well and will have to show up big time against this wing t to give NY a chance. Offensively NY is going up against a stout defense. Fort is very good at the line and have some studs at LB. NY will have to throw the ball a little more I think to help our run game out. NY will be much more prepared then they was last time they visited Beverly. Will the score be any different this time? I sure hope so

Lol. If our football team was bad you'd be happy to make that drive. Just schedule us as an out of conference opponent. Make the trip once every 2 years, pretty easy.

These teams played in 2019 in Beverly. Cadets won 64-21.

There’s 25 teams closer. And trust me, even when you guys were going 0-10 a few years back, I still wouldn’t want that drive.

Fort Frye was in 03. Can we stop acting like Mccarther to Beverly is that bad of drive. I’m pretty sure the girls played in basketball just last year.

Maeson “Crazy Legs “ Long has 16 Tds in 10 games that’s pretty impressive.

Tell me what year we were 0-10? We were bad before eric got here but that was over 13 seasons ago. Just thought if you are trying measure your program you'd like to play one decent team out of conference. But I keep forgetting you have that tough tvc Ohio conference schedule.

Dude, it’s a terrible drive. Considering VC would drive to 25 ooc schools closer. The girls played for a couple of years. When we last the last time VC and FF played in anything prior to that? VC hasn’t played Belpre in anything since they went to the Hocking. It’s just too far with closer options on the table.

NY has definitely gotten better as the season has gone on. I think they keep it close but FF still too much. My prediction, FF 28 NY 14

From 2001-08 FF was 11-69 with two 0-10 seasons. It has nothing to do with your success, or lack there of. It’s the drive.I’m sure Ff would fit into the TVC competitively just fine long term, but I for one don’t want t drive 90 minuets for a conference game. Non conference is a different story. You aren’t locked in. I don’t understand how those things are so hard for Fort people to comprehend. 🤷‍♂️

One of the 0-10 seasons was because of forfeits. Coach Huck completely rebuilt this program and his first season was 2008.

Also when we were 11-69 teams were begging to play us and now that we have been successful nobody wants to play us.

Ok, I'm not talking about being in the conference. I don't want to be in that crap conference. I've said each time out of conference. What am I not comprehending?

Was the drive to crooksville that much easier? And we will come to you. We aren't afraid of a little bus ride.

We never drove to Crooksville. And had we, it wouldn’t have been. Thus a two year deal. No more no less. Same with Warren in week 7. 2 year deal.
