Shadyside was offered a game at Berne Union but opted out. All these small schools needs the revenue from home games. Im sure Crooksville's Athletic boosters account is hurting from no home games this season. This Seth guy can go eat a bags of D***s.

So someone (BU or Shadyside) isn’t telling the truth, then.

If Shadyside isn’t telling the truth and is feeding their sports reporter some bulls—, I don’t understand why your AD is retweeting that as if it’s a statement of fact.

Quick, someone roll a ‘5’ or an ‘8.’ We’re already in Region 27 open dates Jumanji.

I understand playing better teams to improve, but that is what each leg of the playoffs is for.
This is an interesting statement considering NO ONE has ever said, "they played a weak schedule but don't worry the playoffs will get them ready for the playoffs" LOL. I'm sorry man but you can't believe this at all so you think them getting a bye week and then playing 1 possibly quality team in week 12 is going to get them ready?? Not to mention if you look at who they've played and the teams behind them and who they play there's a real possibility they end up at 4 regardless at the best. Anyone sitting there saying well let's not play a good to get ready because we might play NC earlier, sounds sort of cowardly to me. No faith that the team will beat the team they sign if they do play a better, and then you're saying let's duck NC until we absolutely can't like Shadyside and East Knox is such a better matchup  . Sometimes you have to just grow a set and step up and play someone because it' benefits your team, last 2 games they've ran a total of like 30-35 offensive plays that's just crazy.

Coal Grove--probably has 1 more win in them finishing--4-6
Eastern--probably has 1 more win in them finishing--2-8
Worthington Christian probably best shot (if the game gets played) and they're a 4-1 team sitting at #9.

Example:

Trimble had one tough game in 2013 and eventually played for a state championship.

And I don't see a game cancelled for Berne, did they even have one scheduled this week? If not, they are not the first team to play 9 games and lower their divisor.

8/31 H Nelsonville-York (4-6) W 40-0
9/6 A Wahama (WV) (9-1) W 12-7
9/13 H South Gallia (6-4) W 48-0
9/20 A Meigs (7-3) W 16-0
9/27 H Miller (2-8) W 55-0
10/4 A Waterford (2-8) W 48-0
10/11 H Eastern (2-8) W 60-12
10/18 A Belpre (5-5) W 54-0
10/25 H Southern (8-3) W 42-14

Well if we've got to go ALL the way back to 2013 we're really reaching, but since you've got it there. I'm sorry but for starters it's pretty obvious that was a SPECIAL team, next they played teams with 6-7-8-9 wins which is pretty darn good and a defense which pitched 7 shutouts. Just not a real good example honestly and Trimble is playoff savy where Berne Union isn't.

The problem with comparing 2013 Trimble to 2021 BU is the difference in the week-to-week football. There wasn’t a running clock in 2013, whereas BU is playing roughly half-a-game of “competitive” football.

And BU’s league schedule is riddled with teams having serious competitiveness problems, primarily because those programs are in tough shape. They play a team that barely has enough to play who just lost the most successful coach in program history (Miller); a team that just missed a year of 11-man (Rosecrans); a team that just let the RB from that newly-returned-to-11-man run for 458 on them (GCC); and a team that literally had to replace their coach in July (FCA.) Their only two league teams that aren’t in complete dutch (FC and WC) both lack the personnel to push BU past the first half.

Running clock is irrelevant, the Cats starters rarely played much in the 4th Q during those blowouts - and they were not playoff savvy in 2013, the Trimble run of dominance started around that time. They played in 2 playoff games in 2012, losing to NC in the 2nd up at Sheridan. They completely dominated every team across the field from them for 8 straight weeks in 2013, even week 11 at home, then each game got a little tougher during their march to Massilon.

Dodging a regular season game with Trimble or shady kind of tells what coach and ad thinks capabilities of team are , trying to go undefeated have first round home game probably another depend on match up bounced that week or next I doubt they ever see nc anyways

Again you're simply wrong in the matter, I mean this corners you to where you can't knock a single team for lack of scheduling. Berne Union has a quality team why play scared? Not a single coach/player/fan/school/AD/community has the belief of let's play a junk schedule no worries we'll be ready come playoff time, LOL. You play 10 weeks of games where you walk through can make mistakes and still win by 50 on 17 offensive plays and think come playoff time you'll flip a switch is just crazy. You realize BU is playing teams where they score a TD on a single play, get a holding penalty now looking at 2-20 and score a TD on the very next play again?? So there's literally no adversity they're facing in these scenarios, score 57 points on 18 offensive plays, are these things that happen in the playoffs? Absolutely not, not quite sure you realize how bad it truly is. BU has some ball players I've seen them on tape, their coach has no reason to run from any time in that region if he wants to get them ready.
