Regardless of health, this years ironton team is incapable of beating Moeller.

Ironton is proud and will fight but I think Moeller pulls away late.

I was looking on moellers site and looked up rosters. I was blown away by 76 freshman on the freshman team. 78 varsity and I think 30 jv. I wonder how many varsity they dress for Friday

Moeller is 3-0, and #1 in their region based on computer points. Have beaten a D1, D2, and D3 school with all three games won by double digits. Also averaging over 40 points per game.

Ironton will need to be 100% healthy, win turnover battle by +4 or better, and hope Moeller gets car sick on the bus ride down. If all of that happens, then maybe Ironton can keep this loss respectable.

Given Irontons current state and the rest of their schedule, is this game really beneficial on the field or is it just a money game/showcase game?.

Ironton barely beat 3 slow southeastern Ohio teams. But they’re going to beat Moeller?

I agree Ironton has a tall task ahead of them.
They are going to have to fix the issues on the Offensive line and find a complete running and passing game in order to just stay within 2 touchdowns.
They have the talent to compete can they win we will find the answer out Friday night

Are you taking from my comment that I think Ironton is going to beat Moeller?

Kudos to Ironton for stepping up in weight class, but this is an extreme jump. Should start with a Clinton Massie, Bishop Hartley, a MAC school, etc. Or even an average D1 school. Going after a school that could win the D5 football state championship by converting their lacrosse team to a football team is too much.

Ironton’s best outcome is no major injuries and avoiding a running clock. But a win given how they’ve played this year is not going to happen.

Ironton loses this game. Someone said earlier that Ironton will win out after the Moeller game, but Portsmouth and my Blue Devils might give them a run for their money even though we are just OVC schools.

I can’t believe he made up another name to get back on hear after getting the boot. I guess that’s the thing to do, but he hasn’t changed any lol.
