Wow. The effect of turnovers... I felt like Trimble controlled them but didn’t expect the +135 in net yards

Yep! And both corners started their first game at corner last night, played without #1 corner and starting receiver too. Injury bug and turnovers caught up with the cats. It was a great season nonetheless

38 plays for N. C. 64 for Trimble that’s the difference in yardage.

Well, all we read about going into the game was the great equalizer, the septic mud that is the field at Glouster stadium. So, if you factor that in NC did more than bare asss em. :o

Both teams played on the same field bud...

Being outgained by >135 yards is not bare assing anybody

Be glad the Cats turned the ball over 5 times or that's an entirely different outcome.

We know, they "got lucky."

With the "bud" comment I can see you're really angry. Don't be sad. Just keep saying, "they got lucky" until next season. Isn't that what teams down there do when they lose? That'll get you through the winter months. Meanwhile, roll out the basketballs. :o

Never said they got lucky. If you read other comments rather than just trolling, everybody knows that was a good team. You can't beat good teams with 5 turnovers, just not possible. It was the sweet 16 in the state- of course they were a good team. Just simply pointing out your stupid logic saying it wasn't a competitive game because frankly the cats out played them, and everyone that was there knows that. However, when you have 5 turnovers you are not going to beat a team like Newark Catholic. They're as good as anybody at making teams pay for mistakes (that's what good programs do).

LOL now I'm a troll. Which is the second thing posters on here say when they're angry. The first thing is, "they got lucky." No you didn't use those words, but you insinuated that. You did it again in the post above. The second thing, after someone from the other team, or any team, picks against you or comments that you got beat is to call them a "troll." You met both criteria of a whiner.

LOL Never said they got lucky. Actually said they have a great team and obviously they have a great program, THEREFORE when you turn the ball over to them 5 times you WILL NOT beat them. Period.

Such anger. So, are you saying they would have won if Trimble wouldn't have "turned the ball over"?

I agree with SEOFAn that NC got lucky. Just like Thimble got lucky against Eastern. Hey, there's still time to get that rematch in though. ;)
