Oak Hill 15
Gallia Academy 14

That should probably do it for the 1st strings. Oaks running game looked good all night but finishing drives in the red zone was the difference in the 1st and 2nd periods. Front 7 on defense just as good as last year.
2nd string out there for both teams to start the 3rd

I’m kinda surprised teams are putting the second team in so fast most this will be the only scrimmage I think plus with possibly only playing 6 games you would think they would want them to get as many reps as possible

Athens vs Trimble was just a scrimmage. Just ran plays from the 40. Trimble looks pretty good

It was the end of 4, scoreboard was never changed from 3 to 4 at the end of the third. Big win for Oak Hill’s varsity

Burg 42-17. It was 0-3 at half teays Valley. Varsity defense only gave up 3 points. JV fumbled on burg 20 allowing Teays valley to score pretty easily on the burg's second team for the second TD. Slow start for the pirates but once they found a rhythm they were pretty dominate.

Heard both teams offense were pretty simplistic. But I heard the coaches liked what they saw from the burg camp.

Final score was 19-18.

Ironton really dominated up front, but Jackson was missing some key pieces up front. Both teams had some issues in the back end defensively the other exploited.

The star players for both teams stood out. Carrico and co. Were outstanding for the Tigers.

For Jackson, Winters was unreal despite facing heavy pressure. Their first score was a jump ball to Treylan Davis that showed why he is playing at WVU next fall.

Both these teams are going to have VERY good seasons. Would expect both to be 6-0 heading to the playoffs to be honest.
