The line is probably good enough for region 11. Not sure about DeSales.

For the region, it's just a matter of not making a tons of mistakes and outscoring everybody. I'd say we're beatable by Jackson, Granville, Sheridan, and London (those are my rankings for next best in R11) if we turn the ball over like against Massie. I think Alder loses the next two. Centennial has the speed to upset any of the slow bumpkin schools other than Sheridan, but can be out-muscled by any of them. Zanesville's only chance is against Alder. I think Jackson has the best shot to go to the regional championship.

Norwalk & Mansfield in region 10 are both teams that everyone in the other regions should be able to beat, but we're not likely to be playing either in week 14. Prefer a CJ rematch over Trotwood, but that's not going to happen. Have to hope for a coaching collapse on that one. If we get paired with region 9, SVSM will likely destroy us. I'm thinking Kenston is the only other contender there.

I would gladly bet gas money that Zanesville would beat Sheridan by 15+. They're not a great team this year but the Dover and New Philly games were games they really could've won, had they shown a hint of discipline. Sheridan has had a great year considering their losses from last year, but I think Jackson, Granville, and London/Alder and maaaaaaayybbe Zanesville are the only teams with enough talent to stay upright against Hartley

If Alder wins this week, I believe the region runs the Plain City. That team has decent size and good speed. They may not be flashy but play the game as a team and never seem to get rattled.

Hartley just beat DeSales 20-13 and finishes 9-1.

They should end up being the #1 seed.

I don’t see it

I see

Hartley vs London
Granville vs Centennial

Alder vs Sheridan
Jackson vs Zville

Unless Eitel’s site doesn’t automatically add up once the records are entered. I assume a 5-5 team that won in week 10 has been added....maybe that’s not how it loads

I saw that Centennial was going to jump Sheridan, but did not notice that could also jump Zanesville once everything is in. I think you have it right. But still up in air.

Going back to the start of this thread I think I at least held my own on projections with Pasteur...his numbers a bit close but my seedings were closer

You’ve made several posts about how Jackson can’t win in the payoffs. Not sure where you get your info.
Just guessing after I watching both the Granville game with their passing/ running game last year and Independence the year before with the speed and physicality. I'd love to see them win against a team along the I-70 corridor but I believe in DIII you gotta be able to throw the ball more when the other team puts 8 in the box and Jackson can't rely on run, run, run like a Trimble can do in D6-7 and get away with it. It's good that you'll be 10-0 and have the home field this year which will help so I'm wishing the Ironmen good luck. 8-)
I would say all 3 of those Jackson teams were very different. I do agree that Jackson would have its hands full with any of the teams in region 11, I could say the same with almost every local team who makes the playoffs .
As I said last week if you play Centennial it should be an easy win. They have played practically no one up here in C-bus. I believe you got the easiest draw of the region. Git-r-dun !!!!!
