Even with a Burg win if Ironton defeats Gallia they will more than likely jump to #1 in the region then Ridgewood would be #2 Burg would fall to #3 there is some other factors that would have to happen also but let's hope that doesn't happen! GO BURG

Level 2 is where burg is keeping up mostly but helped beating 5-0 Minford, 6-1 waverly and 3-0 Ashland at time they played them. Ironton schedule keeps hurting them when they have beat a lot of 1-2 win teams but the next two are mega points games and should put you back on top with 8-0 Gallia and 7-1 Portsmouth

If Burg takes care of business then this SOC2 championship is definitely well earned.

One thing I know for sure is that coach Woodward is as proud of this team as any team he has ever coached. Through a brutal schedule and multiple injuries they keep fighting, and have given themselves a chance to win yet another gold trophy.

Lot of different scenarios could play out over the next two weeks. Would love to see Burg match up with Portsmouth in the first round. Would be a packed house at The Ed!!!!

No doubt....gotta think this season will be as satisfying as any season Coach Woodward has had at Burg, other than State Champ season of course! These kids have gutted out a solid season despite all the doubters (I'll admit I was skeptical after the Jackson game) and are setting themselves up for another SOC II championship and a nice playoff run. Awesome to see.

As for this game, I'll say Burg wins 42-13. Too many injuries for Valley but they got some solid teams coming up next few years.*
