NY lost to much to be as good as last year.Trimble returns every one.Trimble doesn't have to depend on 1 player to carry them but NY needs number 3 to have 300 yards of offense each game to carry them good luck with that.He will have a few of those games but not against the tomcat deffense
We have more than 1 player.....
We have several kids who will be just fine.
We lost a really good senior class in 16 and followed that up with a regional championship in 17.
Our lines are good, Mikey Seel will do a great job as our QB and we have people who can catch. We have 2 good fullbacks, Linebacker okay will be okay. Our Dbacks are coming along.
Go ahead and just worry about Keegan, not that you guys have anyone who can cover him, but go ahead.
When Phillips, Richards, Jones, and Snyder are running up and down the field, I'll be sitting back laughing.
NY will need Snyder at defense, no way will he be able to play both ways all the time. He tried last year, this year won't be any different. IN NO WAY will this team be as good, get your head out of Rusty's butt and you will see that. I think they will be OK, but not as good as you apparently think :)
Brady and Colton will both play fullback.
Snyder is a little leaner and a lot stronger than last year.

Those last 2 weeks seam to drag on lol
My hope is for an injury free game for both teams.
This is an amazing rivalry but at the end of the day both teams have goals that they are working for and I always hate to see a kid get banged up right out of the gate.
Good luck!

Actually, he did NOT play both ways last year. He started out as a MLB then moved down to DT because he helped the team more by playing that spot. But he never played offense. He got a play here and there when yinger was tired or late in the game but he was a defensive specialist last year.

What scrimmage did you attend? or did you?
I watched them stall out at the 2, the 10, and the 30. Looked like the bucks were working on things while keeping Keegan touches to a minimum.
Which I believe is a good thing. Why get him banged up in scrimmages.
As for New Lex being mediocre??? You know this by watching 1 scrimmage and they have a proven New Coach who came from Newark Catholic. Since you know so much then maybe you can fill in for Fat Phil when he retires in 2050.

All you football experts on here know as much about football as Trimbles channel 15 commentator Scott Auflic!! You think NY only has one weapon? Sophomore Brandon Phillips is a better athlete on both sides of the ball than anyone Trimble has on the field!! Wake up G-Town your bar for talent must be really low since y’all think you have the best players at every position on the field 😂😂😂

Wow, NY is going to have a LONG year if they play like they did against New Lex. I don’t even think Keegan can carry them as good as he is. Too bad they don’t have that freshman QB from Trimble. That would help tremendously.

Scrimmages are strictly for critiquing things within the three phases of football (special teams, offense, and defense), and getting reps. I put little thought into scrimmages besides looking at athleticism and strength. If you see one team getting blown off the ball or being out ran by a lot, then it could be a long season.

I think the games this year will be a good one. Could come down to whomever has the ball last.

I was their and you can say what want they only had 1 chance to score got down to the 2 yard line on play 28 and got stuffed back to the 5 next to plays.QB play was poor, under thrown, over thrown all over the place. The only bright side for NY today was number 70 he is a player. For the rest of the players mentioned good kids but get real better then any one we have.16 got beat new lex should have scored dropped TD on the 5 yard line.safety doesn't come up to hit any one.New led stalled on the 30,15,10 and that's with a not so good QB mostly running the ball.2 weeks we will see.

Never know we may be on OSU coaching staff next year.Funny how some people on here love to be coaches and think they can say what they want. But when someone else doesn't agree with them they get their feelings hurt.I just call it how I see it ,not down grading any one or picking on any one person.

The fact that someone says that sophomore #16 is a better athlete than anyone on Trimble is actually amusing. Must not have watched him play today, he’s a modest 5’6 and got burnt multiple times while playing 10 yards off the ball. Maybe a good ball player down the road but not even comparable to Kittle, Hooper, Rossiter, etc.

He did try - didn’t do much granted. Either way Rusty could see he couldn’t make it as a LB. wore out quick. I do think they beat the tom kittens. I compare their coaching to what NY tried to do with their peewee coach. Bad outcome.

Interesting you keep talking about the guys helping coach Trimble, when the defensive signal caller so far for Rusty has been the Andrew boy that graduated maybe 2 years ago? Much younger than those helping With Trimble. Not to mention one was a 4 year starter (for rusty) and the other was at OU for 4 years. 🤔

Don't down grade kids. Why is it NY fans ,parents of NY kids and coaches on here talk trash about our kids and coaches and call us tom kittens OK.Well its not.I call a spade a spade. If by me saying I don't think NY didn't look good today, not as good as they think their are, they better worry about winning the tvc Ohio before making a run for a regional title. Not coming up to make a tackle, getting burned on a pass play.Throwing 2 picks,I guess I do read what I post because this is a repeat.
