I see you dodged the truth with the Joe Eitel link. Knew you would. Now scurry off mommy, you are embarrassing your son the coach.vctransplant wrote:Knew you couldn't let it go! Truth hurt? I see I may have also been wrong about the man crush. You must be his wife or his mom if you perceive what I said as "trashing their coach." I am not going to crown him like you did as "one of the best coaches in SE Ohio" but I don't see that as trashing. Obviously you are angry, and the crush thing set you off even more. If you are a man as you say, then stop acting like a little kid with all your name calling and the "bet you can't, bet I can, bet you can't..." nonsense. But I bet you can't.

Meigs will probably be a pretty solid team this year and will be above average. Unfortunately for them, their schedule probably wont let their record be above average.

Meigs
2012 (3-7)
2013 (7-3)
2014 (5-5)
(15-15)
2014
Coal Grove L 13-46
Fairland W 79-69
Logan L 7-55
Vinton County W 46-13
River Valley W 49-28
Nelsonville-York L 14-32
Athens L 0-49
Ironton L 18-41
Wellston W 56-6
Alexander W 38-7
Not sure where you are getting 6-4? unless there was an overturned game because of a forfeit?
Regardless, Everyone knows its takes 3 years to build a program... We will find out how good of a coach he is this year. All 4 classes have only played for him, his system should be 100% in tact by now.

Meigs showed some offense at time. The Logan game, if I remember, they had a good player hurt early which made a difference there.

Well, if we can't agree on their record 5-5 or 6-4, lol, then we should at least be able to agree that Meigs is "down by the river" right?
For the record, yes, I think Meigs is going to be pretty darn good.

Re: Is Meigs any good?
There are very few GREAT coaches in SEO. Lutz - Boston - Hinton and maybe Faris! Winning is the best measurement of greatness!
Re: Is Meigs any good?
If Meigs can get some consistency they may go 6-4 .
They seem to panic when they fall behind and try to play catch-up and that's not good.
They showed they could score at times but also showed they couldn't stop anyone to.
Will they be improved we shall soon know.
