Re: McDermott Northwest @ Minford
Nutronron2012: I am a loyal Falcon fan and you're preaching to the choir to me. I said in week 3, look at my posts, this would be the case.10-0 home game, 9-1 on the road, if not, lucky to get in , 8-2 out. However, it still lets beat the teams we know we can beat and hope to get in. This is a tough road ahead. Its one the falcons have the potential of achieving, but the tough road is due to: They have no one to blame but themselves to be in this situation.
You can see it in the strength of schedule is at 27.3%, as compared to the rest of the state of Ohio.!!! That's an F- no matter where you are, 604 out of 718 teams. I hope the AD can see the writing on the wall for 2014, if these teams (E.g., South Point, Rock Hill, and NW,) are kept on the schedule.
Overall strength-of-schedule 0.273, #604 toughest (of 718)
Division IV strength-of-schedule 0.255, #106 toughest (of 111)

Re: McDermott Northwest @ Minford
In 2015, Hamler Patrick Henry has an open week 5. Oak Hill is moving to week 2, that means it's an open date. Maybe we could do like Valley did with Van Buren and meet half way and play a Saturday night game in Columbus.
Re: (3-3) Northwest @ (5-1) Minford
The Rock Hills of the world have to go. No reason to schedule schools like that. No reason to keep Northwest either. Drop them. They are leaving the conference anyways.
I too would like to see them pick up a team from the North and have a 2 yr deal where both games are played on a neutral field in Columbus. Very good idea.

Re: (3-3) Northwest @ (5-1) Minford
Well, hope to see NW at least put a couple of TDs on the board tonight and "air it out" a little bit. These last five games of their season are tough. Got to work on their game and stay healthy to have a shot at winning in week ten. Man a win in "ten" would be something to build on for 2014 as they venture into the SOC-I. Defense needs to play smart and get to the ball in a hurry and wrap up! Last three games the NW defense is giving up on average 45 points a game! Having said all that let's go.........

Re: Minford 60 Northwest 7
Be proud Minford you showed CLASS Maybe you can use some of these points against Valley. Everyone get a CD of this game and watch it the first week end of play offs and rejoice all over again.
Re: Minford 60 Northwest 7
Minford didn't run the score up we didn't pass and we were running straight dives with our freshman and scored sorry your jv team couldn't tackle. But northwest has good size and hard runners they also play hard the whole gameWhiteWhiskers wrote:Be proud Minford you showed CLASS Maybe you can use some of these points against Valley. McCray did not play last night. Looked like he had a cast or splint on his left wrist. Wonder if he will be ready to play next week ?
