Logan?

Post by 55buckeyes98 »

I swear I read on the other site JJ that Logan Job was opening back up again... since I did not see it here I figured that meant it was a rumor

It's Logan Elm. The word up in Fairfield County is the "fear" that Wade Bartholomew is going to succeed his dad now that the opportunity has sprung. Would feel awful for the Bloom-Carroll kids if that were the case. The guy the OP is referring to hastily posted a list from OHSAA (one said listing was simply "Tuscarawas"... well golly gee that really narrows it down  ).

I thought Paladin was going to get Logan in either the MAC, or one of the NE Ohio conferences?

As of now if Lancaster's job opens Coach Burke would be interested but I do not think he would move to BC!

8/29 H Lancaster (7-3) [1:2] L 42-43 2 ot
9/5 A Teays Valley (8-3) [2:5] L 40-44
9/12 A Meigs (5-5) [4:14] W 55-7
9/19 A Loudonville (12-1) [6:19] L 13-43
9/26 H Nelsonville-York (7-4) [6:21] W 40-7
10/3 A Portsmouth (3-7) [5:17] W 32-7
10/10 A Jackson (11-1) [3:9] L 7-42
10/17 H Zanesville (5-5) [2:5] L 14-24
10/24 H Gallia Academy (4-6) [4:14] W 28-7
10/31 A Warren (1-9) [4:13] W 13-6
5-5

8/30 A Lancaster (5-5) [1:2] L 7-57
9/6 H Teays Valley (3-7) [2:5] L 13-26
9/13 H Newark (1-9) [1:1] W 32-27
9/20 H Loudonville (10-2) [5:16] L 7-31
9/27 A Nelsonville-York (4-6) [6:21] W 14-12
10/4 H Portsmouth (3-7) [5:17] W 54-27
10/11 H Jackson (6-4) [3:9] W 28-21
10/18 A Zanesville (13-1) [2:5] L 13-58
10/25 A Gallia Academy (5-5) [4:14] W 35-21
11/1 H Warren (3-7)
6-4

What is there to show he deserves the Lancaster job? He got worse after one year. Two average seasons? Sounds like a good guy who is well liked and does a decent job, but doesn't know how to take his teams to the next level.

55Buckeyes98, I think Noreply was referring to Carpenters son will get that job. Burke has done a fine job trying to get things back in line for the Chiefs. There was more things going on than people know or understand when the losing 3 year stretch started. The Chiefs will be back to their winning ways and are actually doing well with all things considered.
