Great article in today's Chillicothe Gazette about Coach Hinton and the football team.

Rangers. They are a completely different team with 80-90 players grades 9-12. They had no one that had any experience at QB last season, now they have a good QB and the kids who played QB last year have moved back to their regular positions. Injuries and ineligible players also took it's toll on last years squad.

They dominated their first two scrimmages scoring almost at will, and scored 34 last Friday night on Licking Valley in three quarters.

If Chilli doesn't have a good defensive line, they will be in for a long night. If they have a decent running game it could be a high scoring affair, but I'll take the Rangers to outscore them.

So the kids decided to come out in droves since Coach Jacoby left, it figures. He was too much of a disciplinarian and coach for that school anyway. The kids & parents will have there way over there now and even though they have numbers, it won't translate to wins and another coach will be gone in a couple of years.

My question is do you know who you are ridiculing. Picking on these people make me a little queasy. Don't mean no disrespect. Just was taught never to kick a crippled dog when I was being brought up.

And on the football side. The front 5-6 will determine this affair. Both teams seem to have skilled players. Also special teams will/could/should play a part. Coach Justus will have em ready.

Hamilton Twp is better than what people actually thought! They have a stud at RB and QB,both are very fast and very athletic.....they will be in the mix for the MSL title for sure.
