It would be great for Huntington to have its first sectional champ! Cody Thomas sure does have the opportunity I've watched him work hard at practices and he has a great passion for the sport! cant wait to see how he does coming up next week.

I see 152 going to be very weak. However it may end up loaded Howiler told Colt he dropping to 145????? why no clue???? Steele Stroute good but not a state place. 152 is very weak at the Heath district. Guess we will see who gets wet feet and jumps.

With the first year for the program, Eastern High School has a couple of young men looking to do well at sectionals. Those in particular being the three upperclassmen, John Little (11) at 152, Jesse Morris (12) at 182, and Chase Williams (12) at 220. Look forward to an exiting weekend!

he got his clearance to start up again
he had a tremendous offseason and will be in the mix with anyone in the district

he has never weighed over 195
he weighed in at 185 for the league last week and wrestled 220
195 looked loaded at the district so we wanted to see how he would do at 220 giving up the weight

makes it a wt class where people gotta beat a decent kid to get out
this sectional is getting tougher..
thats good for se ohio

Ny with 5-7in the finals (106, 113, 126, 145, 160, 195, 220)
wf with 3-4 (132, 152, 160, 285)
zt with 5-7 (106, 138, 145, 152, 182, 220, 285)
cv with (106, 120, 138, 195)

zt has a bunch of matches that have gone both ways
at 285 white and kunz have split 2 wins a piece.. white with the first 2, one it ot, kunz wins number 3 in ot and then 4th match by 9
at 106 kuhn best hoselton in ot, and yinger best hoselton 1-0
at 220 mccolister will try to avenge a summer loss to carroll
at 138 2 sectional champs will have their work cut out for them to get back to the finals
at 152, butcher pinned hoselton in the first period the first time, won by 2 the second time
at 145 nye lost to knight early but has beat him by 2 and then 8 and has a 12 point win over gibson

Nelsonville-York just trying to survive. We hope to compete at a high level and do ok. Tough with a young group to stay focused.
