Weather looks good for Thursday and this was a real nice meet last year. Hoping someone can give us an update on Route 50 outside of the school. Heard it was closed due to a mudslide. Will it be opened up by tomorrow/Thursday?

WKKJ news...... "route 50 will remain closed until further notice. While it is closed, motorists will be detoured via S.R. 41 and S.R. 28".
Schools coming on route 50 out of Chillicothe should plan for additional travel time. Would someone from the area give us an idea how much time the detour will add.

I'm hearing the detour is lengthy. I actually had a couple people tell me that without Route 50, there is no way to get to Paint Valley from Chillicothe.
Hope everyone coming has a plan. Coming from Waverly we'll go out past Pike Lake and up Potts Hill. Coming in from that direction we will miss the road closure.
