OHSAA adds Middle school State Track and Field meet

What are some thoughts on OHSAA adding Middle School state track meet? 1st cross country was added now track I see more sports in the future

A report from the OHSAA’s 7th and 8th Grade Committee was presented to the board. Included was an update on the upcoming Fourth Annual OHSAA Middle School Cross Country Invitational Oct. 22, along with plans for the Inaugural OHSAA Middle School Track & Field State Meet on May 13, 2017. A separate press release will describe more details on the middle school state track meet.

I like this, I think it's a long time coming.

There was already a junior high state track & field meet, but it wasn't sponsored by the OHSAA.

I would prefer a 4th division but it is a positive step
