S. Gambill from Minford will be the top hurdler going in to 2016. Portsmouth West will have two hurdlers in the top five with W. Robinson and D. Carver. Waverly will have D. Simmons and G. Saverly in the middle of the pack. G. Whitley of Wheelersburg could push Gambill. Top five times are 16.65 to 19.04.

Once again E. Ruby of Wheelersburg rules the hurdles this time with a 2 and a half second time over #2 hurdler K. Conaway from Valley. Minford will have three in the top ten led by E. Shepard. A. Smith will be at the 4th position from Notre Dame. Waverly and Northwest will have two in the top ten. Top five times are 45.96 to 55.43.
Burg finished 1st , Valley was 2nd, Waverly was 3rd and 6th, Notre Dame 4th, Minford was 5th and 8th, Northwest took 7th.
400M-Boys
T. Jennings of Waverly comes into the season with the best time. Look for H. Buttayotee from Notre Dame, M. Turner from Minford and T. Garrett of Wheelersburg fight for second. Minford will have two others in the top ten. Top five times are 52.88 to 55.17.

Looks like H. Hoover of Waverly and J. Fuhrmann from Minford will be the top two going into this season. Waverly will also have A. Parker and Minford will have E. Reffitt, M. Veach and L. Kelly. Northwest will have B. Howard and S. Shaffer. Top five times are 2:06.79 to 2:11.20.

Waverly will have three runners in the top ten led by H. Hoover. Minford will also have three runners led by D. Applegate and M. Veach with the 2nd and 3rd best times behind Hoover. Valley will have two runners in the top ten. Top five time are 4:35.54 to 5:06.52.

A. Elliott of Waverly will be on the top spot for 2016 opening. Elliott just might be the best Discus/Shot Putter in SEO this season. At time in the discus S. Gambill will give him a run for the money. Valley will have two of the top four. Top five will be 149' 02" to 107' 09".

Long Jump-Boys
T. Webb of Northwest, M. Dyer from Wheelersburg and M. Harris of Minford will be pushing for 20 feet. These same three along with Waverly will have to jumper in the top ten. Top five are 19' 05" to 18' 07".
Minford was 1st and 2nd,Northwest was 3rd, Waverly took 4th and 7th, West was 5th, Beaver was 8th.
Long Jump-Girls
E. Ruby of Wheelersburg just might be the top girl in Track for the SOC as she will start with one of the better jumps in SEO. She will have teammate M. Willoughby at #5. Minford will have three in the top ten. Top five are 17' 01" to 14' 04.75".

Last years champs will need some help to come out on top this year. Minford with four back and last years runner up looks to be the top gun this season. Four teams Minford, Valley, Western and Wheelersburg will return four runners. Returning three will be West, oak Hill and Eastern B. Waverly joins Northwest with two.

On the boys side it looks like it will go to the wire between Minford and Waverly. Just might come to what the freshman bring to the table. Wheelersburg will out do the rest of the field for third. Northwest and West should have a good showing.

Looks like this will go to Waverly. Just too much depth. Wheelersburg and Minford will fight for second place. WB and MN might be decided on where they finish in the 4x400.
Northwest will have a good meet but I do not think they have enough to catch WB or MN. If Valley could get a little more depth they could give Northwest a run for 4th place.
