Post by noreply66 »

100M-B

Looks like Whiteoak's D. Ison will be the early favorite. Ripley could have two in the top four with D. Moran and T. Hatfield. Best times look to be from 11.04 to 11.91 with five boys being within this time.

Whireoak took 1st, Manchester 2nd, Lynchburg 3rd, Ripley 4th and 5th, Eastern 6th, Fairfield 7th and North Adams 8th.

100M-G

A. McLaughlin from Lynchburg will be the early favorite here. Eastern Sardinia could have three in the top six, K. Tomlin, J. Sowers and M. Hopkins. This could be three runners for Eastern's 4x100. Manchester's K. Fetters could very well be in the thick of things come time for the conference meet. Whiteoak's T. Tackett and K. Taylor will get their share of points. Top five time are between 12.95 and 13.69

Eastern took 1st and 2nd, Lynchburg was 3rd and 7th, Manchester was 4th and 5th, Whiteoak 6th, Peebles 8th

110H-B

Eastern looks to have control of the 110 with three of the top four times. M. Hundley of Eastern has the best time going into 2016 and will be the solid favorite. Also for Eastern is D. Hisler and C. Carrington with the 2nd and 4th best times. Whiteoak should have the Skinners fighting it out for points. Top five times are between 17.54 and 20.31.

Eastern finished with 1 boy placing but that was 1st, Fairfield took 2nd and 3rd, West Union 4th, Fayetteville 5th, Peebles 6th, Lynchburg 7th and North Adams 8th

100H-G

The Eastern girls should rule the 100 hurdle just like the boys with three of the top four times. A. Fultz should be the favorite from Eastern followed by team mate C. Staggs. Lynchburg could have two girl competing for points come conference time. Top five times are 16.13 to 19.87. M. Foltz will also be a tough one.

Eastern took 1st and 2nd. West union was 3rd, Lynchburg was 4th and 6th, Fairfield finished 5th, Ripley 7th and North Adams 8th

200M-B

The 200 meters looks to have many faces with De Ison of Whiteoak being the favorite. The next five runners will fight for 2nd place...C. Dowers of Fayetteville, J. Freeman of Manchester, A. Chisman of Lynchburg, K. Turner of North Adams and D. Moran of Ripley. About eight teams have runners in the top 10. Top 5 times are 23.24 to 24.76.

Whiteoak was 1st, Manchester was 2nd, 3rd went to Peebles, West Union 4th, Ripley was 5th and 7th, Fairfield 6th and 8th

200M-G

Eastern has around 5 runners in the top 10 but what is good for the rest of the conference is those are mostly in the bottom five. Lynchburg's A. Mclaughlin should be the early favorite followed by K. Fetters of Manchester. Sort of like the boys the girls will have 6 different schools competing in the top 10. Top 5 times are 26.97 to 27.99. T. Tackett of Whiteoak could be a spoiler.

Eastern was 1st and 3rd, Lynchburg took 2nd and 6th, Manchester was 4th, Whiteoak 5th,Peebles 7th and Fayetteville 8th

300H-B

Once again Eastern will rule the hurdles as they will have three of the top four. Manchester's J. Freeman will be the early leader. Top five times will be 42.80 to 50.11. Coming out of Manchester is...will Freeman go under 40.00 this year. About six school will run for the top 10.

Eastern 1st, Fairfield 2nd and 3rd, North Adams 4th, Lynchburg 5th, Fayetteville 6th, Peebles 7th and Ripley 8th

300H-G

About the same will go for the girls from Eastern as they will have three of the top six girls going into 2016. Starting with C. Staggs as the front runner at 46.14. They will also have A. Foltz and M. Foltz. Separating the Eastern girls should be A. Blankenship from Lynchburg. Top five times will be 46.14 to 57.39. M. Koch from Fayetteville could easily jump into a top three.

Eastern was 1st, Lynchburg 2nd and 6th. West Union 3rd, North Adams 5th.

400M-Boys

Whiteoak's De. Ison looks to be at the top again with a runaway time over the # two runner. About six schools will compete for the top ten with times from 50.56 to 1:03.80. Right off Fairland looks like they would pick up the most points in this event. The 2nd thur 4th runners could finish in any of these places.

Whiteoak was the winner with Lynchburg 2nd. North Adams 3rd. Fairfield was 4th and 5th. West Union 6th, Peebles 7th and Ripley 8th

400M-Girls

West Union looks to have a couple good runners here with A. Hackworth and M. Marshall.
Lynchburg's A. McLaughlin once again will be in the thick of things with team mate A. Cochran. Eastern has four runners in the bottom five that could make up a good 4x4 team.
Top six runner have times from 1:02.88 to 1:06.42

Whiteoak took 1st. Lynchburg was 2nd and 4th. West Union was 3rd. Manchester 5th. Eastern took 6th and 7th and Fairfiels was 8th

800M-Boys

Looks like Eastern will have a small edge over Fairfield with both having four runners in the top 10. Only other team with top 10 times is Lynchburg. Top five times are 2:06.38 to 2:14.28. With Eastern and Fairfield runners they should have a good 4x8 team.

Peebles wins 1st and 5th, Fairfield was 2nd and 4th, Eastern 3rd and 6th, Lynchburg 7th and Fayetteville 8th

800M-Girls

West Union's A. Hackworth looks to be the top runner here with the rest of the field close to a quarter of a minute back. 2nd place looks to be either L. Lopes of Manchester or A. Day of Eastern. Manchester looks to have the best 1/2 punch in this race with A. Farthing having the 4th best time. Top five times....2:28.40 to 2:52.62. With J. Seas coming in as a freshman for Peebles she will have the second best time if she runs this event.

Eastern's B. Rigdon has the best time returning for the SHAC but the depth goes to Fairfield with three of the top four times plus five of the top ten. Top five times are between 4:31.94 to 5:01.90. The three runners for Fairfield...W. Evans, H. Richmond and T. Swisher have been running 15/25 second behind Rigdon. Lynchburg's B. McCammon has the fifth best time. Transfer D. Even Tucker has a good chance at first. North Adams has three runners of A. Wright, L. Pratt and V. Day in the top ten. Top five times are from 6:14.00 to 6:21.00. Transfer J. Seas will come in to Peebles with the best time in the area of 5:10.00

Thompson of Whiteoak will push Farthing for 3rd place. Top five times are 12:41.30 to 14:46.20. J. Seas will be running the 3200 also. Don't have a time on her as not many eighth graders run the 3200.

Manchester took 1st, Peebles 2nd, 3rd and 8th went Lynchburg, Eastern was 4th, Fairfield 5th, North Adams was 6th, and Whiteoak 7th

Long Jump-Boys

Just about every school will have someone in the top ten.D. Moran from Ripley has the best jump followed by Z. Carter of Lynchburg and Fairfields M. Mason. Lynchburg look like the team that might place more than one jumper. Top five jumps are 19' 03" to 17' 04". A lot of the jumps are real close so it could be shocking at the conference meet.

Lynchburg was 1st, Ripley was 2nd and 5th, Eastern took 3rd, Ripley was 5th, West Union 6th and 7th with Fayetteville getting 8th.

Long Jump-Girls

Eastern has two of the top four jumpers with A. Fultz the leader with 14:11.75' and M. Fults in the number four spot. Manchester has two girls that could place in K. Fetters and R. Stamm. Fayetteville's R. Claytor and Whiteoaks M. Risner should battle for 2nd place with Fetter being ready to move up if someone slips. Top five jumps are 14'11.75" to 13' 06.00".

Eastern took 1st and 2nd, Peebles was third, Fayetteville 4th, Fairfield 5th, Lynchburg 6th and 7th and North Adams took 8th

Discus-Boys

Eastern looks to have the depth here with three of the top four throws. But J. Lewis looks to be in a class of his own here. He has a throw of 20 to 30 feet more than 2 thur 4.
Looks like about seven teams will compete for points come conference time. Top five throws are from 132' 06" to just under 100".

Lynchburg took1st and 7th, Eastern 3nd and 3rd, Fairfield 4th, Peebles 6th and 8th, Fayetteville was 7th

Lynchburg's B. Leininger will go into the spring as the best thrower Followed by A. Day and M. Faris of Eastern. Top five throw are 113' 06" to 79' 09". Lynchburg also has the number five thrower. The middle of the pack could just about anyway.

Shot Put-Boys

Eastern has three of the top five positions with K. Houston as the #1. Ripley's Z. Procter is at the number two spot followed by J. Lewis of Lynchburg. Fairfield has three in the top eight. Top five throws are 41' 05" to 36' 03.25". Procter isn't that far out of number one so it wouldn't be a shock if he took the title come conference time.

eastern took 1st and 2nd, Lynchburg 3rd and 7th, Fairfield 4th and 8th, Fayetteville was 5th and 6th,

Shot Put-Girls

Eastern has two of the top five but Fairland take #1. Fayetteville and North Adams have a close battle for third. Top five are 32' 08" to 27' 10.25". Seven teams will fight for points come the conference meet.

High Jump-Boys

Ripley will control the high jump with 2 of the top three. T. Hatfield of Ripley looks to easily be the top jumper. Lynchburg should also do well. Top five 5' 10" to 5' 04". Not a lot up high jumpers returning in the SHAC.

Lynchburg was 1st, Whiteoak 2nd, Ripley 3rd and 4th

High Jump-Girls

Manchester's R. Stamm should be the top jumper followed by M. Carr of Whiteoak. Big drop off after 2nd place. Girl are like the boys with not too many returns.

On the boys side it looks like Eastern S. will be the solid favorite. Followed by Fairfield.
Look for Ripley and Lynchburg to have a good showing come conference time.

The older Seas who just finished 10th at state XC meet finished 10th 2 years ago in the state 3200

I imagine Dan can go 9:40 or so in the 3200....probably 4:35 in 1600. Brother Matt not too far behind. The sister will be champ in 1600 and 3200
