South Point Invitational

A very nice meet last night at South Point. A beautiful facility, I really enjoyed it. Just wish it was there when I was in school. It was a very nice touch, honoring John Grimm, a classy move. Also Tom Beard was honored. I really liked the idea of the meet in Arthur Lydiard's memory. I got to meet him when he was here.
Portsmouth won the boys with South Webster second. Fairland and Ironton didn't run full strength teams, because of the Jesse Owens meet. South Webster won the girls with South Point second. Coach Stevens said the full results should be up on baumspage soon. Congratulations to everyone in South Point on a great new track facility.
