They had an "open" run the last race for the boys not on full teams.

We left after the hs girls race so i'm not sure. I know times in the earlier races were really fast. I'll try to find out for you about the boys team.

I don't think there was an open race.

Correct. There are alway open runners in the team race, though.

First off thanks to Coach Shepherd for putting on a great meet and everyone else who helped. This is a fast course and 32 teams, wow!

There was about a 20-25 mph wind at the meet. This slowed the times a bit. But still some good performances. Kennedy Hatfield of Zane Trace ran 18:24 in the girls race and there were two girls under the previous record in the girls Jr. High race. Good volunteers made this meet go off smoothly.

For whatever reason our coach thought the boys were running in an open race at the end. I guess this was a mix up on his part so the boys missed their race...

I would have to agree that Ironton gets stronger every meet. Nice group of young men. Best of Luck at Conference and Districts!!
