I would say that Barnesville should have the nod in a close one. I don't think Barnesville returns a lot, might be sound at QB. Rocks have a nice coaching staff that should be all the difference in this one. Last I heard Newcomerstown is a bit of a dumpster fire.

Good for the state of Maryland. Hopefully Ohio follows suit by banning biddy league football. Feel sorry for some parents though, they will have to wait a few more years to live their lives through their "superstar" children.

Easy solution: don't water down your schedule and host a playoff game at home.

Excellent post. I did not know that tomorrow was Coach Circosta's last game. Virtually no reporting of it in this area (Wheeling-St. C) in the local papers. Saw SCC play Madonna on WTOV-9 on Thursday night. Madonna had a nice team with the leading rusher in the valley (something like 1800 yards)coming in 7-0 and SCC completely dominated them. Nice QB play, and a big solid offensive/defensive lines. I think Fort has the ball rolling coming off a big win ...

Nice win by FF and conference championship. I've always admired their program - good solid coaching and hard working young men.

As others have said, no one in the mighty OVAC wants to play Big Red. St. Clairsville made the incredible miscalculation of thinking it was in the same league as Big Red a few years ago. We saw how that worked out.
