Re: Chaos In Ohio Football...Season On The Brink
None of that stuff means anything. Why people believe that this will magically go away with social distancing isn't thinking clearly. There will be flare ups. What are we going to do? Stay in the house forever? I say this.... If you deem teachers as essential workers, shouldn't their pay reflect th...

Re: Week 1 Portsmouth vs ironton
Maybe Portsmouth can come out and put on a show. Tough task. Ironton has a pretty good team.

Re: Chaos In Ohio Football...Season On The Brink
My question to you is this..... If in five years, people find out their hearts were severely damaged due to getting covid ( even if there is no symptoms). Would you be willing to pay extra in your tax dollars for your local school to pay attorney fees and settlement fees five years down the road? T...

None of that stuff means anything. Why people believe that this will magically go away with social distancing isn't thinking clearly. There will be flare ups. What are we going to do? Stay in the house forever? As I have said all along- there is no CURE for a virus. There is no vaccine you can take...

Re: Chaos In Ohio Football...Season On The Brink
My thought is if they have a season which I think it will happen why not do 10 games. You can do 6 games and opt out of playoffs and play 4 more or possibly play games if you are eliminated early. These rules and guidelines make no sense. If you are having a season just leave it alone. I was one of...

Re: Chaos In Ohio Football...Season On The Brink
I do not think it is that I just believe a certain set of people are trying to plan for the worse, and hoping for the best. Just a crazy time, with fickle leadership. Either way these boys need to play. Most have been putting in the work all their lives for this opportunity. Imagine looking into a ...

Re: Chaos In Ohio Football...Season On The Brink
I guess I don't see that argument. What is the difference of kids practicing now, compared to playing games in a couple of weeks? What is the difference of kids being around each other at school and being with each other at their friend's house, which is what is happening? I mean it's as if the argu...

There are some weird odd people on this board. We have a glimpse of hope and people come on here as if they want it shut down. Unbelievable

Re: Waverly 2020
8/28 will be at home vs Granville. A D3 school, at least they were last year, who went 9-1 and made it to the second round of the playoffs before falling to bishop Hartley. Don’t know what they have coming back. 10-2 last year and I know they were 9-1 regular season in 2018 as well. Graduated an ou...

Re: Week 1: Ironton at Burg
Has this game been called off ???? Never got scheduled on the reboot I did not know that. Thanks cat So with the new format of playoffs. Would they meet early or late in the postseason ? My guess would be later. I’m assuming they will go by team record. Ironton will be undefeated. Burg schedule a l...

Re: Week 1: Ironton at Burg
Coach Pendleton had a full cupboard last year. He inherited 5 impact players. They loaded up and took a shot at it. They may be doing it again this year. He did a good job selling it. But let’s be a little realistic, I could have coached that team and at least won 10 games. For me to consider him go...

Re: OHSAA Shortens season
It's going to get cancelled, no way it survives with all the colleges canceling all fall sports. Just get ready The big 10 decision is about money. Dewine said you can’t make decisions based on a vacuum. Basically one decision doesn’t always fit the mold of the other. He’s going to look foolish can...

Re: Week 1: Ironton at Burg
What your seeing is doubt creeping into the minds of the Burg faithful. It only took one year for Pendleton to take Ironton back to the top. Wheelersburg faithful saw this coming two years ago after that first game. You would have thought they had lost the game walking out to parking lot talking to...

Re: Week 1: Ironton at Burg
Why does it matter if Ironton has kids coming from different schools. Burg has had and still has kids coming from different areas. Lowry came from Portsmouth and recovered the fumble that sealed the deal in the state championship. Tanner Wilson cam from Ironton to play for Burg and the list of tran...
