What is the all time series record between these teams? Eastern couldn’t have won more than a few games at most. Every school has a down year once in awhile.

NY has played 11 of these schools in the past. Trimble - Yearly rivalry game, but never met in the playoffs before. Bellaire - Played in the playoffs one time in a Regional Championship. A scheduling agreement with the TVC Ohio would be interesting. South Point and Rock Hill are the only OVC schools Nelsonville-York has never played. I would love to see Ironton, Portsmouth, Gallia Academy and Coal Grove back on the NY schedule.

What year did the NY youth team consolidate? Nelsonville, Buchtel and Murray City all had their own youth teams for years. I can’t remember when they consolidated.

I like this. It would benefit the kids from smaller schools. Students from Nelsonville-York, for example, would have the opportunity to play soccer, tennis and swimming. They would have the option of playing those three sports at either Athens or Logan (or Alexander for soccer).
